At the start of a certainly busy off season, there will be lots of rumors, and lots of "rumors".

Let me define an NBA rumor for you:

-An NBA rumor is a report based on information from one or more inside sources; sources that have knowledge of the situation

I bring this up because many read articles from random websites that say something like: "I think it's a good idea for Player A to be traded for Player B." Then say rumors. That's not a rumor. That's an idea or just a discussion point.

What I figure will happen all across the message board all summer is there will be tons a rumors with half being legit and half being clutter. Need an example? The CJ for Okafor "Rumor" Thread.

So if you post about a rumor, please try to make sure it's an actual rumor instead of an idea from an unnamed writer from yishoshiba.net ..

A Trade Idea tag might help with the distinction without discouraging wild BGD threads.
