Sorry guyz, I'm not really a Sonics supporter, but I'm a HUUUGE Ray Allen fan, and it dissapoints me that he isn't developing.

He's a great player with endless potential: The smoothest jump shot in the nba, and a potentially spectacular dunker. He is all that someone could want in an offensive player.

I really just don't know why he isn't developing into the superstar that we all know he can be. He may be an all-star, but he is not compared to the likes of T-Mac and Kobe. Its a shame but he is still young. Theres much more time.

Hope he become HUGE, and good luck to the sonics.

The guy needs to move to another team or find a better coach.

Potential? I'd say he's reached the end of his growth. The reason he's not a superstar is because he's not a leader and he can't drive to the basket as well as Kobe and Tracy do. That, and he's not getting much exposure in Seattle.

You call yourself a HUUUGE Ray Allen fan and you say he's still young? He's like late 20's/early 30's. You call THAT young? If that's young, is Kobe and T-Mac babies?

LOL...yeah, Ray just hit the peak of his career..i don't know, i think he'll never be that player...he's a good player (and i'm saying this not only because he's my favorite player) and a great shooter, but he'll never be a Kobe/Tmac...just like many other players that are all-star but under the radar.

As Casual said, he isn't enough of a leader, and unlike in the case of a McGrady, he doesn't have the game to make up for that. He is athletic and has a hell of a lot of natural ability, but he doesn't attack the basket enough, and leg injuries have slowed him down somewhat. A superstar, but not someone you'd want to build a team directly around.
