Has anyone thought of this? I'm sure he wouldn't be in the same situation as he is now, playing with a more dominant center, but I'm sure they would have made some noise in the east.

    PG - Nelson
    SG - McGrady
    SF - Hill
    PF - Howard
    C - Battie

    That's a playoff team IMO.

By Howard, I am sure you mean Juwan, am I correct? [IMG]

No need to talk about this, it didn't happen. We did the right thing by trading him when we did. I'm not disappointed at all at the outcome. Francis and Cato>nothing anytime you look at it. If we waited and dealt him at the trade deadline, we would have gotten way less. He wouldn't have stayed with us.

No I'm just talking as if someone had used some jedi mind trick into making him want to stay. It's an entertaining thought about the havoc he could've caused..

    I agree with MickyEyez,

T-Mac was a problem and a potential cancer to team-chemistry. I don't really like the trade but that was the best we could get for him, management screwed it up with Mobley.

But you need to look at it from this way:

T-Mac showed during our poor season that he isn't a leader and doesn't want to be a leader. But we needed a leader, a leader that comes in every game and gives his best, T-Mac didn't and that's why it's better the way it is now. Lets forget about what happened and look what we've got now and look at our future.

On a side note, management screwed up a lot of things in the past but we learned to not dwell on those things...

Let's look at other trades that could have happened.

What if the Magic had traded McGrady/Howard/Lue for Shawn Marion,Joe Johnson and Barbosa from the Suns? Would the Magic be any better now?

I don't think so. Barbosa would have taken some time away from Jameer and Joe Johnson wouldn't have been a major contributor with us. Our 2 best players would be playing the same position SF.(don't wanna rush Dwight to C).

True, I agree he would've been a cancer to the team. I think he at least made an effort to be a leader..I heard he was even taking leadership classes.

TMac just doesn't have the heart and determination that KG, AI, Shaq, Kobe, etc does..

    I'm just saying what if..
