What if we don't blow that lead against the Lakers in 2000?

Do we not blow things up? Do we get a championship or two but not Roy, Aldridge, Oden, etc.? Good tradeoff or not? I know that winning a championship or two is a great thing, and I wish we had, that was my worst day as a fan, and we wouldn't have known how that altered our future, but looking back, did we still come out of it quite well? Will we still get a championship or two? More? Am I just overthinking things as usual?

Even if you got Roy, Aldridge and Oden i will never forget that the Blazers passed up on MJ LOL

What if's arent important... your statement is just like saying "What if the lakers didnt blow that 20pt lead in game 4 of last year's finals?"... It doesnt matter, it didnt happen

It's hard to say. Who knows what would have happened in the finals even if they had won the game? And there is still a lot to wait and see about the group you have now getting to a championship level.

That loss is always going to suck, but if it leads to the team blowing up, sucking for a few years, and then being able to win a championship or two sometime in the not too distant future...as a fan, that has to be a pretty fair trade off.
