    Corey Brewer.

I'm not impressed with what I've seen so far. He's shown what I said at the time the Blazers drafted him: VERY LOW BBIQ.

He constantly jacks up shots in a crowd of defenders. It's almost comical.

    Tony Allen minus the defense.

Yeah, safe to say I'm not very optimistic about his prospects.

Well it is not of a starter but he could be a valuable super-sub. 7th-8th man type on a playoff team.

Corey Brewer is not bad but he has a good amount of D. I would say C.J. Miles during his couple good years with UTA.

He has a lot to learn. That is evident. But I actually see a lot of good in him. I think the NBA game is a bit fast for him right now and ends up putting himself in bad situations with the ball. I think he can grow out of that though. If he can develop his outside shot and learn to pace himself and get used to the speed of the game I could see him being a poor man's Jamal Crawford. Feel free to make fun of me. I just see a lot of good in small glimpses. I also have been really surprised by his rebounding instincts. I think that within 2 years he will be a great 6th man off of the bench. Just my opinion using my crystal ball.

I wish we could transplant/clone those rebounding instincts to Meyers! He need them

Tony Allen and Corey Brewer are two guys any team would love to have coming off their bench. Not sure how that is a diss.

I think he'll be a solid bench player. He desperately needs to add some weight.

It's hard to get too worked about second round picks, the odds of them making an impact are always slim. The fact that Barton at least has a nose for rebounds and isn't afraid to make forays to the hoop give him a couple of tools to develop.

If he can somehow manage to add fifteen pounds (all the way up to a whopping 190!) and curb the wildness, maybe he'll turn into a solid 8th man. No big loss if it doesn't work out.

Barton has the mind of a high school player, but his flaws are correctible. More than anyone I've ever seen, he would benefit from a year in the D-League.

Ever see the apartment the worm guys lived in in Men In Black 2?

He's a poor man's Travis Outlaw action figure. Looks a lot like him, but he's a lot smaller and has fewer brains.

Barton isn't a genius, but he's a lot smarter than Outlaw. He also has a much more well rounded game.

Mmmm... not so much on either count. The only thing he has over Outlaw (and most of the NBA) is an almost delusional level of confidence in his own abilities.

But brewer was a lotto pick and Barton is a second rounder. I would love for Barton to get to brewers level. That's a cheap role player!
