This guy came up big when J-Rich was serving his suspension and really gave this team a huge lift with his clutch shooting and defense.

What the hell happened to this guy? He has been shooting around 30%, yet still shoots every chance he gets. I would understand if he was open but he shoots with guys in his face and hardly ever makes them. I know he is a veteran but Musselman is giving this guy way too many minutes.

Like you said, he's a veteran. Not only does he provide leadership because of his experience, he gives the Warriors some much-needed midrange game. I suppose he plays some pretty good or at least decent defense. I don't see any other reason for Musselman to keep him in the game. Maybe it's because he doesn't trust Pietrus enough to put him in when they still have a chance of winning the game? This might be true, however, I remember seeing Mickael guard Redd when we played the Bucks. Good question... hmmm this makes me wonder why he's getting the minutes instead of sharing them with Pietrus.

Me, personally rather see Claxton and Van Exel at the backcourt when J-Rich goes out, or even Lampley at the 3. Not to mention I have seen 2 games where Cheaney by himself had chances to either win/lock up a game with his free throw shooting and he would always choke. I don't know why he's in there sometimes in the final minutes, I would like to see what Pietrus can do. Though he does have a nice shot with veteran leadership, you would think he makes smart decisions. I have seen him take dumb shots and give away easy turnovers, I don't think it is necessary to see him more play anymore than 20 minutes a game, he doesn't bring much more than other players who sit the bench.

Don't get me wrong, I like this guy and I like his game. But he has just been killing the Warriors as of late IMO.

Monday nights game against Boston, he missed like 3 shots in a row when the Warriors came back and made it a 2 point game. Out of all the players, Calbert is not the one I wanted shooting. I dont' even understand why he was in the game.

    Rudeezy,

I think he's in there mainly for defense.

It's because Mullin picked him. I think Cheaney is terrible off the bench but good when he starts.
