wat do you think people. i think spurs vs the heat is. tim duncan vs shaq parker vs wade More people would be willing to watch games like this rather than the pistons vs spurs which is pretty damn boring. Although i would rather watch a offensive power hosue like the kings or hte mavs match up with teh heat, i dont think both the teams will beat the spurs or twolves.
Well, the most ideal would be the Spurs vs. Pistons or Pacers. The one that everyone would watch would be the Lakers vs. the Heat but if that happened in this first season with Kobe/Shaq apart from each other, I would be shocked.
Well, I disagree w/ iversonfan3 becuase if you think about it. Shaq and Duncan never guard each other when playing against one another. It's always guys like David Robinson or Nesterovic. Ideal Playoff matchup : San Antonio vs. Detroit

Wow, I actually find the Piston's basketball playing VERY entertaining. I would much more prefer to see the Pistons play the Spurs than the Heat.
Here how my Ideal Finals will match up: Spurs-vs-Pistons Lakers-vs-Pistons..again Kings-vs-Pistons Lakers-vs-Heat Rockets-vs-Heat Rockets-vs-Pistons The intriging Finals that everybody would probably get excited about would be the Lakers-vs-Heat for obvious reasons,and Rockets-vs-Heat(Shaq-vs-Yao) Now if one of what we picked for the ideal finals comes true.that would be good.
For me, its the Nuggets and Raptors.. I just think that would be sick basketball to watch for a 7 game series.

If the 76ers were in it...I dunno. It'd draw some people because of Iverson's popularity, plus, if they haven't seen him by then, they might want to check out Andre Iguodala, who I think is going to be one of the best players out of the draft. The kid has a ton of athleticism and is great on defense, just needs to improve that jumper and he could be very good. So, that'd be the big reason I'd watch em if the 76ers were there, for the sole reason of checking out Andre's game and how's doing as a player in the league so far.
hmmm. If the sixers were in it, that means guys like Iggy, Sammy D, Greene, and Korver all panned out, and if that was the case, they could be a fun team to watch. I'd love to see Denver in the finals, they are loaded and are gonna be a fun team to watch. And I always love watching KG. But my dream finals picks would be (besides LA vs Miami): Kings vs Indy. I just feel so bad that the Kings still haven't made it to the finals. They should/could have the last three years, and someone is always hurt. Plus Indy is also a deep team with lots of offense. I would also love to see, maybe in 5 years, the Lakers build back up and meet the Celtics in the finals to renew the best rivarly in the NBA.
I'd say the Timberwolves vs the Heat would be nice. KG and Shaq would be a huge matchup, and both teams would be to the finals for the first time ever.
Rockets v Heat Ming v Shaq T-Mac v Wade Jeff Van Gundy v Stan Van Gundy Pat Riley taught the Van Gundy brothers and they both have similar Cs and SGs. Truly a testament of how the balance of power has been shifted if these two centers can meet in the Finals.

It would be great to watch Yao & O'Neal go at it for a title. personally, I'd rather see a Kings - anyone matchup though
The matchup I would enjoy the most would be T-Wolves and Pistons. Two very fun to watch teams in my opinion.
