Murphy was one of the few players taking it to the rim last night against Yao and having success. The Warriors were hoping his speed would neutralize Yao's size, and with Murphy's ability to shoot from the outside, you force Yao or Swift to come out of paint to guard him.
Murphy did okay attacking the rim but 10 of his 15 shots were 3s, he needs to step in and hit mid-range jumpers too. 3-10 is not going to cut it. Neither is 6-11 from the free throw line.

Thats true. Sometimes I think he's running mathematical equations through his head while on the court, which causes him to fumble the ball.
