It's obvious that the person filming had prior knowledge that this was going to happen. That person should be charged as well as the attacker.
A great majority of people are looking for their 15 minutes of fame regardless of how lacking in subtlelty or taste it is. Youtube, IMO, only makes this quest for "immortality" & collective narcissism worse.
I blame first the parents, then the schools and last the media. If all that failed then (and seeing how it does at times) then the child (kid, whatever) will be a future criminal (future in prison). Dangerous world we're living in.
This is just like when the 6 girls beat up that one girl and taped it and put it up on youtube. Do these girls not understand that you will get in way more trouble and they know it is you when you tape it and post it on the web.
Seems like women are a lot more ruthless and have no remorse for who they're attacking (obviously I'm talking about the exceptions not the rule). I think also a part of it is that with teenage girls there is less of a threat of repercussions for the person attacking, physically speaking. If a guy went up and hit another dude with a fuggin chair like that all the dudes friends sitting at the lunch table would have got up and whooped ass. I'd say the guy swinging the chair would have gotten his face caved in there as well as a later date. With girls if someone beats ass on their friend show many of them will jump in and help? You have a crazy, aggressive chick and no one is going to want to mess with her (except another crazy aggressive female). I think more guys are willing to fight and will risk an asskicking to stick up for their friends if their friends got cheapshotted like that.
wow i mean at school if we are on the field we take out people (get them on the floor) but not weapons she is out of control what are schools doing to curb that anger?
I swear, people these days are way too fucked up in the head. What really drives people to do stupid and asinine shit like that? If you want your 15 minutes of fame, why can't you do it in a non-violent way that A) won't get you in trouble, and B) won't do harm to anyone. It makes no sense.

As a teacher you can't punish them in any meaningful way because 90% of the parents back their child now and once a child knows the parents are blaming the teachers for situations the child has created, they grow more bold with the teachers and the teachers lack the support from the parent. beyond a detention, what can teachers do? and if the student doesn't do the detention what are the consequences? Nothing because the parent will go to the principal and say their child was unjustly treated. blame society and this PC "everyone is special and should be treated fairly blah blah blah" world we live in. Teachers have been neutered in this battle, no wonder they have less influence on kids today.
If a guy hit me with a chair, I would of killed him. Like actually of killed him. But man, that most suck for the girl who was hit. It's horrible whats going on and how badly its overlooked.
