There's always been rivalries in sports and sometimes you grow to love your team but gradually dispise some others. Some teams I am neutral with but others I simply dislike for various reason.

Top 6 teams I most dislike:

1. Dallas- as a Rocket fan that comes naturally. Also, I hate Dirk for his pretentious act of being fouled and Josh howard for being an ass to Yao in the playoffs. I also don't like Eric Dampier for thinking he's the best center in the west..

2. Pistons - For beating a developing Rocket team in their the first game lol. I'm uneasy with Piston's fans, even though a minority caused the raucous, it's no wonder that the fans behavior has become so infamous. The rivalry during playoffs with Jordan and the bulls added to my dislike for them.

3. Lakers - For having gained so much attention that makes them overrated even with all their fame and championships. I dislike Kobe as a player and person, though I admit he is very talented. But now that the Lakers are mediocre, they still get alot of attention. The Shaq trade was a travesty, I hope the lakers learned their lesson when they didn't make it to the playoffs last season...

4. Phoenix - Didn't like them since the 90s when there was big rivalry between Suns and Bulls, especially when Berkeley was playing. Today, I still don't like them.

5. Knicks - Not fan of NY simply because of the rivalry and tension back in the 90s with the Bulls, since I was bulls fan. Didn't like Ewing, though he's now a rocket assistant coach...

6. Pacers - Again, because of rivalry between Miller and Jordan. Don't like Miller or Artest

i hate 3 teams

boston- i dont know something about them just doesnt feel right
im assuming its that ive never been a fan of paul pierce and antoine walker

lakers- even tho i like kobe's attitude i never liked the lakers and i realized this when malone and payton joined the team for the sake of leeching a championship from kobe and shaq

dallas- rockets fan never liked dallas due to dirk nowitzki

i dont like or hate the suns because struck me as a player with a big head when he was asked who will be the mvp of the league he said me or nash, who will be mvp of the all star game he said me, and who will win the championship he said the phoenix suns

i know this could be just supporting your team but common how does he expect to win mvp of league when nash is part of the reason him and the suns had the success they did

Hi Tmac, you talking about Amare? Lol, he's been quite confident after getting good stats last season, perhaps alittle too confident.

there was never a rivalry between the raps and bulls, all of the players traded pretty much got along well. so i guess there is a knicks bulls rivalry again because of that trade too.

I thought the samething when I read that. Any how...

Miami Heat- Shaquille is the greatest big man of all time, and I will support him, and won?t mind if the Heat win the title. However, I will not cheer for them, and will hope they lose simply because they have become the haven for all NBA bandwagon fans. Also added with the way their team is put together it makes me wonder would they be any where near this level had the Shaq trade never happened? Probably not.

New York Knicks- The way their franchise is put together with so many cocky superstars. Even though they have not gone deep in the playoffs for a while now they are still always mentioned in the media, etc, also because of the Knicks and Sixers rivalry. Most importantly because of Jamal Crawford mister " I'm glad to finally be part of a winning organization".

Portland Trail Blazers- I hate everything about this franchises their name, their logo, and most of their roster. They did Cheeks dirty when they fired him, and they choose to keep a punk player like Darius Miles over one of the highest class people in the league. I like Martell Webster and hope he gets the first ticket out of there when he hits free agency.

Lakers - Kobe is the main reason but it also has a lot to do with the fact that they stopped the Sixers from being the first Philadelphia team in 20 years to win a championship.

Knicks - Like BKS said their franchise is put together with so many cocky superstars it's not even funny. I haven't been that much of a fan of LB either ever since he left Philly.

C.K., you just mentioned two of the most endorsed teams in the NBA. Not a surprise, considering the city that they each represent.

my most disliked teams:
the 2000 Lakers and the 2000 Trailblazers.
These are the reasons:

From jump I liked the 2000 Blazers they were a group of angry individuals that coulds play ball. They also had aquired the last piece of their championship puzzle in scottie pippen. Their bench was as strong as alot of the easts staring lineups. I enjoyed following their regular season run.

From jump I hated the 2000 Lakers. It wasnt the entire Team that i dislikes there were 2 players, Rice and Bryant. I hated rice because to me he was an overrated player who got so much praise simply because of his allstar game mvp performance. Kobe bryant simply annoyed the hell out of me with his attempt to walk, talk, chew gum, and interact with other players the way mike did. Being from chicago that rubbed me the wrong way.

And what further complicated the situation is the fact that at the time I was living in L.A. I lived In a 3 bedroom apartment and all of my roomates and neighbors were Lakers fans. They used to rub it in my face whenever the bulls got demolished and say how elton brand sucked.

But the reason why I hate the Blazers is because of the way they crumbled in the second half of game seven. I had put all of my hopes and dreams into that team only for the greatest letdown in my sports history. To see Scottie do all that he could and his teammates just sit back and watch him play an entire half was sickening. And to cap off that game, scottie took out his frustration on a 6' stack of crisply folded towels, by snatching them from their pristine position and throwing them onto the tainted floor............F U! Kobe stopper............. F U! bonzi..........FU Davis............ F U Sabonis........... AND F U SHEED!!!!!!! *sobb* WHHHYYYYYYYY!

Heat - They're stacking up their team too much.
I really dont like when teams do that. Like when the Lakers had:
PG: Payton
SG: Bryant
SF: George
PF: Malone
C: Shaq
and they still lost to pistons

Hey man I feel you. I think Pippen is a very hard working and responsible player. To see his teammates slack off must've been heartbreaking, for both himself and the fans.

MIAMI: Stan Van Gundy showed bad character when Detroit beat them in the conference finals. You lost, Stan, accept it like a man. Then Dwayne is a little too perfect - I like Kobe more now that i know he's human and he screwed up. Then you got Shaq with his dumb comments although he seems like a good person, just the stupid comments sometimes. But the way they expected to win it all, especially Shaq and SVG, last year was what i didn't like. Anytime you expect to win it all you ain't winning jack. You can never take your opponent lightly. Plus the Heat seems like a real bandwagon team.

KNICKS: Isaiah - great player but bad coach and worse GM. Acquiring Stephon was not good. Neither was Jamal Crawford. And now that center from Seattle, I can't even remember his name, he had one good game in the playoffs. Larry Brown - he is a great coach but his demeanor is full of self-pity which tends to get annoying. Starbury - mad skills but he really makes his teammates worse. Knicks would probably have a better record with Jason Terry or Luke Ridnour running the point. Stephan would probably laugh at that and remind you that he's starchild, but hey. Tim Thomas gets a bad rap though. Plus they have a BORING team for a city like New York. Even Memphis has more interesting team.

PS A lot of people "hate" the Lakers because of all the hype. But let me ask you this: would you really prefer that there was no Lakers in the league? Say what you want, but they make the whole league more interesting. I'm not a Lakers fan but an NBA without a Lakers team would be sad for me!

Haha, yup, also because of the Bulls in the 90s, which loved because of Jordan. And both the Pistons and Pacers were rival of the Bulls, so yeah I still don't like them. But if i had to pick the lesser of the two evils, say if they were playing each other, i'd want the pacers to win. I mean, a piston fan threw a coin at my homeboy iverson, and nobody does that and expects me to respect them. Even if it's one bad apple that did it, it tells you something about the organization.

Yeah, the Lakers are vital to the league. Who else are we going to hate on? The Bobcats? Anyway, here are the teams that I "dislike" -

Houston Rockets - It's an issue I have with their fans constantly overrating Stromile Swift and declaring themselves a top 5 team for next season. I know we've got a lot of Rockets fans on JBB, so I'm not talking about all of them, but a lot of them are too biased to stand, and thus they make me hate their team.

Toronto Raptors - See above. Oh yeah, and they stopped wearing the cool jerseys with the stripes and the mascot... those bastards.

Los Angeles Lakers - Just for the fact that every trade rumor has involved L.A., but they never really make that many moves. Seriously people, KG probably wouldn't be traded for Kobe, much less Lamar Odom.

Atlanta Hawks - I've never actually seen a Hawks fan, but I'm sure they're a**holes.

You should still be a Bulls fan. We could use fans like you on the Bulls board.
