So im heading out to Vegas but won't be there long enough to do all the things we want to do and i know there is alot. So instead of asking folks what to do, i thought we could make a list of things not worht the time or mkney or both. Now before we get carried away, There are a few obvious items that need not be mentioned since im with my wife. So things NOT to do: brothels are out. Any half nude or lingerie type show thing is out. Meeting up with @bodyman5000 and 1 . (I kid, if i didnt have the wife and had more time...) Anyhow. What are some other red flags to steer clear of?
Dont try to get into a pool party if your swim trunks don't have netting in them. Learned that the hard way.
How long are you in Vegas? Where are you staying? What things does your wife like? Why are you going to Vegas? Fun? Conference? Have you guys been to Vegas before?
There's a wicked party in Henderson. It's actually a painting party but it will be really fun. I'll provide water and you get rest breaks every 8 hours. Tickets are only 10 dollars.
Checking into the golden nugget( not my choice so keep the flack to a Minimum, lol) friday evening. My sister in law’s wedding on saturday so that day is mostly booked up. Sunday is our free day to figure something out. Then we fly back at 1pm on monday. Wife and i were married there and stayed at a suite at the Aria for a week, but that was our only trip aNd really didnt do much but hotel hop the main strip, lay around in bed aNd blow alot of money in the casinos. This time we are looking for more tuoristy stuff museum? Tour? We thought about the helitour of grand canyon, but decided to figure something out in town. Is there some mafia tour? Takes you to where bodies are buried and shit? Lol
Don't walk on the Vegas Strip too much. Its so fucking shit and ghetto. The downtown area bars are pretty thug and scummy too. Its like warping back to Las Vegas before it got nice, so many scum bags at those casinos. Like SPD said, walking Freemont Street is pretty fun. There's a bar district outside of freemont with some spots, but you may not be hip hop enough for them. On Friday night, if you have a car, I'd stop off at the Peppermill Restaurant for food. Its not that great tbh, but the ambiance is so fucking rad. With your short time, I'd just go to Cesar's Palace Forum shops and the Bellagio (the Garden in the back).
My uncle wanted to do something low key so we did a guided tour of Hoover Dam. Very interesting. 1/2 day tour from the strip.
It was goooood when I went. That's the other thing about buffets. Timing and repeatability. Go five times and it might be good 3.
