With Rampage losing his belt and Forrest now the champ, the LHW division is open for any challenger now. I believe there was an article out a couple of weeks ago about Forrest saying he doesn't want to fight Lyoto (funny, nobody does).

Losing the belt, does Rampage get an automatic rematch or does he have to fight somebody first? I'd like to see Rampage/Griffin II ASAP. Does Rampage fight someone first, possibly Wanderlei?

I read that Dana White said the winner of Liddell/Evans most likely gets the winner of Jackson/Griffin. We all know Chuck and Dana are boys and Dana is probably expecting Chuck to whoop Evans, so does Chuck get a shot if he wins?

Lyoto definitely deserves a shot, but it seems nobody wants to fight him as the casual fan finds his style boring.

Wanderlei, imo, needs to beat another top LHW to get a shot at the champ, so this could set up another fight with Rampage.

Jardine? Is he still in contention or did suffering a murderous loss to Silva ruin that?

Is Shogun still relevant, after blowing his knee out twice?

If there was ever a time for a LHW GP, this is it.

Winner of Chuck vs Evans gets a shot IMO, which will probably be Chuck as Evans is exactly the type of fight Chuck feasts on, Wrestlers with inferior striking skills. (See Tito, Randy Couture)

Wand vs Page or Machida winner is next in line IMO, Unless Chuck wins vs Forrest, then Thiago vs Page or Machida winner has to win one more to get a shot.

Shogun has to come back with at least 2 solid wins.

    damn it's hard to predict...

I was pissed when Rampage lost, but then I was thinking Forest would be a lil bit easyer for Evans to whoop up on.

Its time to enter "The Dragon" thats all I have to say about anything regarding the lightweight division. Maybe one more fight againist someone like Thiago Silva or Wanderlei Silva but I personally dont think he has to prove himself more than he already has.

Over at Sherdog, there is a thread posted with a link that reports the winner of Chuck/Evans will get Forrest @ the Decemeber New Year's Event.

Rampage/Wand III is already being rumored for UFC 90, with the winner getting the winner of Chuck (Rashad)/Forrest in February.

Lyoto's next matchup is rumored to be Thiago.

Forrest/Chuck is a wet dream for the UFC. That is a big payday PPV.
