It may sound crazy to even be suggesting this, but there are already rumblings that the Bucks may trade out of the top pick in the NBA Draft.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After a season of injuries, the Milwaukee Bucks beat the odds and won the NBA lottery on Tuesday night, creating exciting possibilities for next month's draft.
The Bucks, who had only a 6.3 percent chance of winning the lottery, now have the options of dealing the No. 1 pick in the June 28 draft, using it to entice Michael Redd to re-sign or simply choosing a talented player like center Andrew Bogut, forward Marvin Williams or point guard Chris Paul.

"It certainly opens up opportunities with other teams that would like to get the first pick," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said. "I don't want to come out and say that the Milwaukee Bucks are trading the pick but it certainly creates a lot of buzz for the Milwaukee Bucks. We are in position now where we control the draft." </div>

While I think that the Bucks should keep the pick and use it to select stud big man prospect Andrew Bogut. He's tough inside, rebounds, passes very well, defends, and is developing range on his shot. I think he's going to be an above average NBA starting center. Marvin Williams is an option, and while he is very talented, the Bucks are a team with plenty of holes, and need to fill the one in the middle rather than adding another perimeter oriented player.

Who might be interested in the pick? Atlant might be, but I don't think they'll be crying over having to draft a stud point in Chris Paul. Could New Orleans be interested? Of course, they got bumped down in the lottery, but I'm not sure that any package they could put together would be worth a shot at Bogut. One deal that I would love to see is, get ready for this, a trade with Toronto. I propose this:

Bucks Get: Chris Bosh, Toronto's 2nd first round pick
Raptors Get: #1 pick, Desmond Mason

I don't know if Raptor fans would be too happy with that, though [IMG] I guess we'll see, but as Larry said, we're in a great position with the top pick, and I hope the Bucks are able to make themselves into a contender again. [IMG]
