Bumgarner/Karshaw pitching today figured it would be a good game to catch. I'd swear Bumgarner is from another planet. He hit a home run to help his cause and left the game with a 2-0 lead. The Giants has I think earlier in the season lost eight in a row but hung in there and as of todays win have taken 7/9 from the Dodgers. Lots of baseball left but I'd say they are really close in Chrome City rearview mirrors. Wish some of the hustle could ignite with the Yankees.
Indeed "Great Minds Think Alike"....... The best of the West Coast, and worth the watch, no doubt........as good as it gets out here in Caly..... Neither are the Yanks, but both can play ball, (tho' Kershaw lost his groove thus far, while Mad Bum is stellar as usual....)
Speaking of "great minds", the Dodgers, Giants and Yanks.... Dodgers currently having an excellent season in both W-L records and statistically. They're in 1st place playing .600 ball, Pitching - 3rd in ERA, 1st in WHIP 1.16, Avg 9.2 Ks per 9 innings. Offense- 2nd in Runs scored 186, 1st in OPS .804 The Giants. Pitching - 5th best ERA 3.43 and WHIP 1.25, 14th in league with 6.7 Ks per 9 innings. Offense - 13th in league with 151 Runs scored....but they're 2nd in BA .268....lol 4th in league with .725 OPS. The Yanks. Pitching - 5th best in league ERA 3.67 (without Tanaka), 5th best WHIP 1.22. 3rd best 8.5 Ks per 9 innings. Offense - 6th best in the league with 179 Runs scored and OPS .720 It's a pleasure discussing baseball with great minds.

Me 2, were all adults here, who can and should speak our minds, WITHOUT any childish name calling..... then again, some people will intentionally do something prepostorous/negative, just to get attention......I learned that from Parenting 101, and I had 1 of 3 Sons, who did exactly that.....
I have an easy way of solving fights, but people usually don't like it. We're planning another intervention.

I tried that already, I sent him a very polite PM & I was very tactful, I didn't point fingers or name names. I basically told him that it would be in the best interest of the board to end all the back & forth bullshit & all the "I told you so's" & sacasum. And that maybe we'd get a few more posters without all the unnecessary bickering. I further stated that its okay & perfectly natural to disagree from time to time but it can be done without all the "Can you top this" nonsense. Now judging from some of last nights posts, either he doesn't know how to retrieve PMs & or he just doesn't give a rats ass, because its still going on.
That's sad, a shame........ You must feel like you wasted all that energy, to try to bridge a gap, and My hats off to ya' Rick for as much, ie, being the diplomat ambassador of goodwill....... that's the point right here/there, Speaking, writing, thinking, WITH DIPLOMACY....! Which sounds lost on 1 poster.......and, were not picking on Him....! If one can't get through with DIPLOMACY offered, then I really doubt anything will get through......Diplomacy, the very same stuff Wars are ended or never begun, by using such............!
