We're still waiting to see if we can resign Hassell and Hoiberg, but besides that, what's our next step? I think we should just stay put after we resign the 2, hopefully. All of the western conference teams have only got weaker or have stayed the same. The Lakers have gotten weaker by losing Shaq, Dallas got weaker by losing Nash, and the only team I see giving us some competition right now is the Spurs. They made an upgrade from Turk to Barry, and they are resigning Bowen and Manu. If we manage to resign Hassell and Freddy, then we bring back a full roster, the flow is still there, and we can be contenders once again. Only possibility I see us doing is maybe making a trade, either Wally+Kandi or something similar for a more dominant center. But I feel we stay how we are. Opinions, thoughts?
The team will most likely stay the same, if they resign Hassell and Hoiberg. I doubt there will be any trades involving the Timberwolves but there still is a possibility. Also, they might sign some players from the summer league to contracts. The most likely player to get a contract is Stepp and maybe another player.
The team will most likely not make any big moves because our big moves were made last season by aquiring cassel and spree. Probable the best western conference team will be us because will all the other teams are either weaker or the same we are still better. I think the lakers did a great job in getting a good young team though we have to worry about them and houston those two are are only troubles imo.
