Knicks vs Rockets....1994. two of the best Centers of all time going head to head...Patrick Ewing setting the all time record for blocked shots in a 7 game series..."Big Shot Brob" Robert Horry's first ring...the birth of Sam Cassell "clutch player"...John Starks shooting the lights out during game 6....Hakeem making the play of his career by getting a piece of Starks potential game winner in the same game....a game 7...John Starks goin 2 for 17...and the Rockets going on to win anoother ring the following year.Plus, game 4 was interrupted by the OJ Chase...one of those "JFK gettign Shot Moments" ...everyone know exactly where they were when this happened.Plus the head coaching matchup was one for the ages...Rudy T vs Pat Rilley. Just a great series all around.

It went to 7 games with the Lakers winning a nailbiter by three, LAL also won Game 6 to avoid the series loss by one, with Isaiah Thomas HEROICLY scoring 22 points on a badly sprained ankle.
As a casual fan, my favorite was last year's Spurs vs Pistons series that got stretched to 7 games. As me my favorite was Shaq dominating in the Lakers 3-peat years. :dribble:
Patrick Ewing isnt overrated, he could EASILY make a legitimate case for greatest center ever. I do agree with that Knicks-Rockets series, As much as I love 90s basketball, the finals matchups were way too one-sided.
