Item: The Los Angeles Lakers extended their winning streak to eight games, including a particularly impressive four-game run that included victories over Indiana and at Dallas, along with two over San Antonio. What it really means: The Hall of Fame-bound quartet of Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and Gary Payton is starting to roll. Most significant has been O'Neal in the past three games averaging 20.0 points, 13.3 rebounds and 5.0 blocks, with 12 blocks in the past two games. If the big guy is feeling good and excited, nobody will touch them. </div> Full article Here
 Well there's always something big going town in Lakerland, but KG suprised me last night on how he could take over a game like that.
Flip Murray... Damn, he was good at the beginning... but the last 4 games... Do you guys think Mcmillan made the right choice?

Item: Until the injury-plagued Philadelphia 76ers came from behind to beat the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night to pull even at 10-10, no team in the Atlantic Division was playing .500 ball. What it really means: Despite having no Todd MacCulloch, Glenn Robinson playing only four games because an ankle sprain and Derrick Coleman hobbling around looking like The Mummy from the movies made 50 years ago, the Sixers are still capable of winning big games because of Allen Iverson. All he did this week was average 40 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.75 steals -- once again proving he is the best theater in the NBA. </div> This is true but it ain't pretty, only for Iverson it is. Sixers been playin with injuries everywhere... but time and time again I say it and I'll say it again, Iverson is playin great. Coleman isn't playin too bad for the big man role and Dalembert is gettin some blocks each night.. he got long arms so that helps him out... If I were the sixers I would trade for a big man and a PG. PG isn't in that bad of a situation but Snow needs to git some jumpers... and we could use a big man that would help our team....
