Now we all can agree on one thing with Leprecaun Frank, he works hard. Given last games pick and roll offense peppered with occasional Iso's what will be the offensive scheme now that we have a vastly different looking team... Seeing as Pick and roll is a strong suit for Marcus and given the sheer speed of Harris you would be mad not to utilize some screening from Boone which would also open up the low post if we have nenad playing his mid-high post game. The only thing that concerns me is that we have a very offensively limited low post rotation, seeing as Swift could probably be seen as the second best offensive player after Krstic. His jumper is a little shaky at times but he does at least have one unlike Boone, Swat and Diop. How would you utilize this odd assortment of players we have now, keeping in mind VC iso-fests are really easy to defend.
When harris gets into the lineup things will start moving a little bit faster and he'll take some of the scoring load off of carter and jefferson. Swift is pretty much automatic when he gets the ball close to the rim. I also think the team has too many bigs with little offensive skills.

When Marcus plays with confidence <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ItH58VdS5s0&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ItH58VdS5s0&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
With Harris, VC, RJ, Nenad, SWAT, we got some terrific personnel to run an AASAA offense. That would be ridiculous, the offense is so hot right now, and only a couple teams in the NBA run it, take a chance!
I'd say tight defense, fast break, pick & rolls, and relying on Vince, RJ, and Krstic when everyone else goes cold. Fair assessment, considering that's what we've done in the past. Actually, quite reminiscent of our team a few seasons ago.

With this team opposing players will just shut down the middle and dare the shooters. Also doesn't take advantage of all these bigs we have since it relies mainly on 1 big and 4 players with ball handling ability.
DEFENSE!!! I think this could be one of the best defensive teams we've had in the past 5 years. Would actually like to see KVH try and play because I think the team could use his post season experience and shooting since most of our bigs have little experience there. Unfortunately I don't think that's happening. I hope the isofest in the last game was just making due with new bodies and limited practice. You can see the negative impact on the bigs when we use that strategy. Too easy to defend. Teams are packing the paint and eliminating the drives and the bigs and daring the shooters. Like to see more cutting and movement to get the bigs some easy buckets going towards the paint. Don't need Kidd for that as a lot of Boone and Williams buckets came from Vince and RJ off such cuts.
It depends game by game, when we played the bulls, we hit i think 9 threes and the offense ran alot smoother, if we can hit our outside shots, the offense will be better, if we dont, the offense will turn into a mess
its also going to help alot having two PGs who can get into the lane, marcus and devin are both very quick and can break down defense but yet again, its up to the wing players to knock down 3s

I'd love to draft CDR and put something like this in.
