you happen to get your hands on a 2004 copy of the Portland Trailblazers pre-draft psychological profiles for players such as Josh Howard, Telfair, and Al Jefferson? What if it had detailed reports about drug usage, reading levels, and overall assessments of risk involved in picking said players. Oh and it was signed by one John Nash.
I would toss it in my stove. I'm already burned out from thinking about CP3/DWill vs Martell and Durant vs Oden. I don't need to worry about a draft from six years ago.
Blackmail the team into giving me free stuff, or threaten to air it out on the internet. Seriously, how does stuff that personal, with such sensitive info about a person's character find its way to the SA (saw your post on BEdge).
Put it in my recycle bin like a good citizen. I recycle paper but see no need to recycle the same arguments for a decade.
I would read it and refer to it in passing on S2 for a long time and then probably turn it over to a prominent NBA journalist so I could make a friend Actually, I'd probably read up on journalism to ensure that a prominent NBA journalist could ethically write about it before I contacted them. Ed O.
I'd start posting my opinions at what happened back then and why. A year or so later, I would "find" the book and use it to confirm how smart I was. Actually, I wouldn't do that, but I think several of the posters here would!
