Remember when shooting percentages were down almost across the board around the 02-04 area?
Did players all collectively decide to get into the gym and start shooting? Didthe game generally get so much more isolation oriented that shooting doesn'toccur as much?It seems like a lot of the guys have improved in that regard and it's no longer as much of an epidemic as it was...or was it ever that big of a deal, was it all hype?

well, looking at the improved shooting of many players in the league, including jason kidd, i'd say players decided to hit the gym. also, shooting coaches have probably gotten better, and shooting forms have probably been perfected
Im guessing Gilbert Arenas has a lot to do with it. He shoots enough offseason shots to cover other player's practice time. Thus those players dont have to shoot as much in order to get better.
That is how I look at it.
