Re: What's next for Indiana? This team had a really strong nucleus for the past few years but it was evident this season that there needs to be some kind of change in Indiana. Since their NBA finals trip in 2000 the Pacers lost in the first round three years in a row, then the Eastern Conference Finals in 2004, last year they lost in the 2nd round and this year they lost in the first. Clearly they put up somewhat talented teams considering how they have made the playoffs eight seasons in a row. Should they dismantle this team (trade jackson, o'neal, johnson, peja, some pacers veterans)? Or should they keep big name guys like Jermain O'Neal and Stephen Jackson, trade other vets away and build them up again with some other veterans and young players? What will it take for the Pacers to get over the hump?
Re: What's next for Indiana? I figured Pacers fans would jump all over this topic.....I didn't realize there pretty much aren't any Pacers fans Haha...
Re: What's next for Indiana? They should keep Jermain O'neal but Peja is deteriorating slowly, they could use more young talent on this team, and the bulls want a verteran don't they? See if they can get one of hte bulls younguns.
