Hi. A couple of days ago, I tilted my monitor for better view and it shut off because of the plug in the back must of got out. So I put it back in and after a couple minutes noticed that the screen was much brighter and much more stronger in color. Then at night, I shut off my computer and the monitor stayed on, and was displaying random colors. Like red, blue, white, black, green, ect. Just the colors, nothing else.

I don't know what is wrong. I unplugged it and plugged it in again and it did the same thing.

    Does anyone know what's wrong?

Maybe the monitor cable wasn't plugged in all the way.

When you shut the computer down it displayed a whole screen of red, then it changed to green, etc.?

That might happen if your operating system doesn't shut down properly.

    What OS?

Check every plug, see if theres a program on your computer for the monitor, check the monitors on the companies website and take Dennys advice he gave above.

All fixed. Went through the settings and set it to default factory, didn't do it again. :)
