You can catch The Ultimate Fighter on Spike. TUF is a reality show where there are two teams and 1 fight each week, the winner at the end of the season gets a UFC contract. TUF is on Wednesdays at 10:00 ET on Spike. That would be a good start.

Once every couple months UFC holds a Fight Night on Spike, which is basically a PPV for free to a bit of a lesser extent (if that makes sense). The next Fight Night won't be for a while because 3 weeks ago was the last one.

Tomorrow (Sat, 19th) on My 9 there is UFC Wired where they basically some old fights.

I believe CBS has a TV deal with something, I've never seen it but you might be able to catch it.

If you get the channel "Vs." they always have WEC WrekCage on at all different times.

Yeah, Wednesday night SpikeTV does a couple of hours of MMA, starting with a "best of" type show in UFC Unleashed, followed by The Ultimate Fighter, the UFC reality series that features at least one fight every time.

I'd suggest going to a bar tomorrow night to watch the UFC PPV, which starts at 10. That is, if you don't want to pay about $50 to watch it at home, though its cheap if you get other people to come over and pitch-in (less than what you'd spend at a bar if you're anything like me).

You also might want to refer to this thread if you have questions you're afraid to ask. I've tried to give an overview of the sport in general.

WEC on vs. networks is really good, the UFC owns WEC now and puts on some a great fights.
On May 31 Elite XC is airing MMA on CBS, they don't have a lot of talent but some good talent is there.

UFC also airs 'unleashed' on Spike, usually before The Ultimate Fighter reality show. It airs old fights and they usually air fights of fighters who are fighting on the next pay-per-view the week before any pay-per-view.

PPV has the biggest fights, but unlike other sports, you never know when a great fight will occur. You can get two no-names going at it and they'll put on the best fight you've ever seen.

That said, when two top fighters fight, the build up and anticipation make it that much better.

please ask away in the MMA section, it's always great to see new ppl following MMA.
