When does the Gay/Swift for Battier deal become official???

    Just wondering, when does the deal (Rudy Gay and Stromile Swift for Shane Battier) become official? Because both of their official websites have yet to announce it and NBA.com's transactions page doesn't list it either. Battier's contract didn't expire this year did it? If it did, I would understand because they would have to sign and trade him, but I don't think it did. A little help?

    Later on a certain deadline will be up and they will be able to complete the trade.
