I'm anxious to see him play. I'm pretty certain he'll be worked in slowly, but we really need another body in there.
I read that he was still experiencing pain in the hip while doing some light practice shoot-around...... Not sure if end of the month will be good enough for him...
Didn't he have his hip bone graphed or something to that extent? I don't know if I'd expect as much from him this season since he is a rookie coming off a pretty serious surgery.
Agreed. The notion that Pendergraph is going to be back soon sounds like propaganda. "We don't need to make a move - Pendergraph will be back any day now."
I honestly don't see the benefit in making a move now, though. We want to make a consolidation move, but everyone is injured, making that really damn hard to pull off. Why not wait till the summer instead, and tank for draft position now (which we'd do even if we did make a trade, because we'd have even fewer players as a result of the trade)?
Agreed, but why does anyone bother even bringing up that something sounds like propaganda? It's all propaganda. Every word released to the public from any company is inherently public relations, by the very definition of the word. Saying something a company says aloud sounds like propaganda (or worse "the company line") isn't just blindingly obvious, it implies mistakenly that only some of what comes out of the company is PR. Only by mistake would anything unfiltered be spoken to the public. It just makes me a little cheesed off that posters try to make a distinction between two pieces of controlled, filtered, PR... as if there were somehow a difference in the level of truth or authenticity. It's all just looking for patterns in the rain.
I believe it was Fritz Perls who said all communication can be divided into "chickenshit", "bullshit", and "elephantshit."
I hadn't heard that. I thought he was due back any day, and was excited to see what he has. They definately need another body who can rebound & defend the post. Before the Knicks game Monday, Wheels said Pendegraph and Mills were working out and looking good but were not expected to be activated on the road trip. I took that as they are both "close". Guess not - dang it!
