And i thought the bobcats loss was a disgrace. Enter Mo Willimas lol. Its one thing to let lebron score 40...what can you do. But letting another scrub kill us makes me sick. Is it me or do we regress each game on defense? Really dont know what to say at this point. I mean i didnt expect us to beat up the cavs or even to win but cmon you should NEVER EVER let Mo Williams light you up. KP's choice is coming soon. Playoffs or lotto. This current group isnt making it. Trade has to happen and we all know it, so does he and so does nate. A win vs the wiz and clips wont fix things...just give us more heart brake when we miss the playoffs. What am i saying... no game is a gimme for the blazers. Funny part is.... didnt everyone say we played the "hard part" of our schedule? I read about 50 barret blog entries yet now we cant win 2 in a row to save our lives. Thats not a good sign. we should have a 4-5 game playoff spot lead... instead we have a 1 game lead and prob look the worst of all of them since dallas, utah, suns all beat us or at least the season series. anyway some thoughts on last night.... how nice it would it be for us to have a starting SF who can shoot the 3 or score? roy...somethinhs really wrong sergio has played a little better as of late rudy...wow where did it all go wrong. outlaw was playing his "make the fans cringe" game bayless is def more of a SG then a PG...at the moment but at least looks alive out there oden.... again fouls and inconsistant. pretty basic stuff if you watched him all year. AND LAST.... how nice would 2 veterans be on this team? I mean we have room to sit players on the bench. Id rather see batum and sergio cracking inside jokes rather then frye and ike who are worthless with no upside.
Mo Williams is a good player Deleted. Watch basketball. As far as making the playoffs goes, Dallas is the team that won't make it. Blazers will be fine.
Mo Williams is a superior player to Nate Robinson in every facet of the game. You clearly don't watch a lot of basketball. Deleted.
Actually, Mo is a boarderline all star. Don't forget he plays in the east where there are less talented PG's. He is very good though.
I think you have Mo Williams confused with someone else perhaps? Maybe Mo Evans or something???? only explanation for your posts about him.
31 points good? um no. sorry thats a disgrace. and btw...the cavs announcers are worse then ours after big shots. they sound like girls.
So I guess Orlando, Phoenix and Boston are absolute fucking garbage because they let Steve Blake beat them? Blazers beat all three of those teams when Blakey went off this year. And most people would say that Mo Williams is better than Steve Blake. Watch basketball, Deleted.. Mo Williams is a good player. Besides, even with a monster game from him and Lebron and a uncharacteristic shooting night from Brandon and LaMarcus, this game was right there for the taking. -Pop
Whatever Mo is or is not, our boys might as well be serving him drinks and wiping the sweat from his head with those wide open 3's he was taking! So when you guys give me crap about Nate, realize this is a product of his great defensive coaching! Wide open 3's game after game, and how many uncontested drives to the hoop? Every game! Our players are fine, no change, coaching and spacing???? Well that's a different story!
Another ridiculous thread made by the most ridiculous poster. I give you credit though for being able to always attract attention to yourself. Mo Williams averages more than 16 ppg, 3 apg, 3 rpg for a team that's 32-8. Watch basketball, learn the game.
MIXUM's just upset that he couldn't start a thread about the Cavs blowing the Blazers out, so he tried to go with something else, which miserably failed.
Man, couldn't you just for once skip the drama queen stuff and just post your thoughts about a game. You raise some legitimate issues, but frankly I'd just as soon make fun of you as talk with you. Oh well, here goes nothing: Monty Williams is a good player. He got really hot and the Cavs did a good job of finding him whenever the Blazers doubled James. The Blazers suck at perimeter defense anyway, so it's not surprising that Williams got good numbers. In case you hadn't noticed, our starting SF has been wearing a boot all year. Nobody planned to go into this season with Batum as our starter. He's had some nights when he's played great and others where he's disappeared. Kind of normal for a rookie. That said, I'd agree that SF is the position the Blazers could really use some help at. He's in a mini shooting slump. The mechanics of his stroke probably got messed up a bit when he was playing with the hamstring injury. He'll come around. I haven't noticed much of a change, but he's a decent backup PG. We miss Blake...a lot. Sprained foot. Kind of cuts down on mobility and jumping ability. He'll be fine. Agreed. Travis is Travis. Some nights he's a terrific scorer. Other nights that disappears and all you're left with is the shortcomings of the rest of his game. He doesn't really know how to run a team yet, but I think he's got the makings of a terrific complement to Roy. He's got a lot to learn, but he has the physical gifts and he'll improve. Vets help you win games. The Blazers could use a couple. I suspect that KP will address that issue either by the deadline or next summer. I don't think either Frye or Ike have a lengthy future with the team.
e-blazer....i have been hearing "kp is gonna make a trade this summer" the past 2 summers. dont hold your breath
