This team, a group that was supposed to be in the bottom of the standings, has been going blow for blow with the defending champs. The team that just broke the wins record. The favorites to win the title again.

We couldn't do that with the Spurs a few years ago, with LaMarcus. We got embarrassed in that series.

    Game 1: SAS 116 - POR 92
    Game 2: SAS 114 - POR 97
    Game 3: SAS 118 - POR 103
    Game 4: POR 103 - SAS 92
    Game 5: SAS 104 - POR 82

We got crushed by the eventual champs. Was that team really any better than the one we're facing now?

We could be up 3-1 right now, or at the very least tied up. Would you ever have thought that would be possible before the season started?

There is so much to be positive about with this team. I know it sucks that we lost, but the Warriors are a truly impressive squad. When they ratchet down the defense, it's incredibly difficult to find shots. They have so many weapons. They have a great coach. They have the MVP. We would have won that game if Curry hadn't played. I'm sure of that. We were crushing them before Curry came into the game. They looked laughably bad.

Last season, some of our guys checked out in Memphis. Nobody is quitting on this team. They play to the final horn. The last time I saw a team with this much heart, it was the team with Brian Grant, JR Rider, Sheed, etc and we were giving it our all against the Utah Jazz. We can get there. We need a few more weapons, but the core that we have right now is the kind of group that will fight till the end. I love this team.

I'm going to try to add a little realistic Logic here. We've been able to hang because the League MVP has been out. THat would be like feeling good about hanging with the Jordan era Bulls, with no Jordan. With that said the team has definitely exceeded expectations, is youg, and has room to grow. We also have cap space so maybe we have turned a head or 2.

No MVP BUT their stats as a team really didn't drop off that much, yeah 3pt% wasn't as good but they almost averaged the same amount of points.

Curry probably has the best supporting cast since the 80s for an MVP player.

We would have won that game if we had made one more friggin' free throw.

This team and it's free throw shooting.... and Dame missed at least two technicals. He has always been kinda crappy at techs. It's so weird.

The toughest free throws to hit are The ones where you're standing on the line by yourself.

If we let the Warriors beat us by 50pts do you think we can get our lottery pick back?
