Theres an article on espn talking about where do we go from here.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?page=5-on-5-110526

Now to get some virtual retribution on 2K11, I played the regular season game against the Heat (the first one) after making a few trades from some better shooting. I got Marcus Thorton from Sac for Taj and somebody else (I think Korver) and I managed to pull Marco Bellineli from the Hornets. I signed some 6'10 kid from the DLeague who was averaging like 19 and 10 to replace Taj.

Thorton had like 32 points on 9-10 shooting from 3. Marco had like 14 on 4-4 from 3. We won the game 121-109. I know its a video game, bear with me, but what 2 do we need to go after to make us a legit threat? The article says JR Smith, someone who's athletic and can create their own shot. Right now, his crazy ass looks good for us.

Obviously we need a better starting 2 that can create his own shot and shoot it well from 3. Besides OJ Mayo and Smith, I can't think of many others to be sufficient replacement 2's. We dont have many assets to trade either to pick up someone sufficient. So my question here guys is...where DO we go from here?

    But seriously folks......

We can acquire JR Smith for a buck fifty without giving up any assets

We can acquire Jeff Foster to replace Kurt Thomas and we wouldn't have to give up anything

And I reckon the Bobcats would accept one of our picks, Kyle Korver and Keith Bogans for Stephen Jackson

    Noah
    Boozer
    Deng
    Jackson
    Rose

    Asik
    Gibson
    Brewer
    Smith
    Watson

    Foster
    Mack ( draft )

You really think Bobcats would do that deal? And I think Foster resigns with the Pacers. I think we should have went for Jackson this season, because we dont know what level he'll play at next season, so in that regard id go after one of the younger options

Whatever level he plays at I bet it's better than what Korver and Bogans can play at for the next 2 seasons.

Charlotte trims it's payroll by 2m

Why both sides don't do it would be beyond me. And remember we would have Smith and Ronnie Brewer to add wing support as well

Gut feel is I reckon Stephen Jackson has still got plenty in the tank.

You dont think Char will see it that way either? lol I mean i like Jax too, hes even another low post option. And we would only have Smith if he signs with us (who knows if the rumors from earlier in the season were true about him loving to come to chicago). I hope we can improve some type of way, I'm just somewhat doubtful. However, it is officially the offseason for us so we can actually do trades.
