<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Pacers small forward Peja Stojakovic sat out the final 7:32 Sunday largely because of Fred Jones' play. Coach Rick Carlisle decided to stick with Jones down the stretch because the shooting guard helps the Pacers offensively and defensively. Jones scored 15 points off the bench. "Fred was in the flow of the game; he was playing well," Carlisle said. "There was a thought of maybe getting Peja in for the last play, but I was concerned he was sitting over there for a long time. . . . Having Fred back on the floor means a lot to our team because of what he does at both ends." Jones' return helped the Pacers defend Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter. Jefferson was attacking Stojakovic on offense in the first half. When Jones defends Carter, Stephen Jackson can guard Jefferson, a better matchup for the Pacers. Tinsley out tonight There was some hope Jamaal Tinsley would be available tonight, but the Pacers' point guard said Monday he wouldn't play. Tinsley (foot) has been out since April 14. The continued absence of Tinsley means Anthony Johnson will likely play the most minutes. Rookie Sarunas Jasikevicius played less than nine minutes in the opener.</div> Source
