I am in Phoenix tonight and was watching the Suns Bucks game and I began to wonder where the Blazers would be had they signed Goran Dragic and drafted Andre Drummond.

I think it is hard to tell where we would be I certainly feel like the team with Dragic and Drummond would have been very comparable to the one we have now. In addition we would not have drafted Meyers Leonard maybe taking John Henson instead.

Still at least we did not let some crazy people convince us we needed Kendall Marshall.

I'd love Drummond, it's just too bad we didn't trade up to get him. Having him and Lillard together would be beautiful

But we would not have picked up Robin Lopez.

Dragic and Drummond would be good, but I think Lillard and Lopez is better. I like that Lopez can hit his free throws.

why not? Still could have traded Withey for him and then we would have had a hell of a center rotation

I don't know about record, but I think we'd be more well rounded. Dragic runs a team better than Lillard, we'd have more balance to our offensive attack, and a guy in Drummond who will probably be a Top 5 Center (if he isn't already). We also don't have anyone on the team who even comes close to shooting 60% from the field - so that'd be nice to have a player who takes and makes high-percentage shots. The defense would probably still suck because defense relies on good coaching.
With the league absolutely STACKED with PG talent, I'd have just signed a journeyman PG like Dragic or Calderon and drafted Drummond. We might have a worse record at this point in the season, but I think overall we'd be better off.

Meh, Lillard runs a team with the best offense in the NBA...

Oh and 0 cares because it didn't happen.

Maybe overall but it is so nice knowing we have the PG spot locked down for the next decade at least. Drummond has tons of potential but until he realizes it he is still a major work in progress.

Drummond is a starting Center. I just don't see us picking up Robin Lopez in Drummond's second season.

We'd still need a backup for him and with all the foul trouble Drummond gets in Lopez would be a fantastic backup while Drummond learns more about the game. He could teach him alot. Giving up Withey for Lopez is a steal no matter the role you have Lopez in and since Olsheys game is all about asset acquisitions I don't see any reason that deal doesn't still get done.
