I was looking back on the 04-05 draft and I was thinking which player in that draft will turn out to be the best player. I have to go with Sean Livingston. His upside is so great and he definately has amazing potential. He has great size and if he bulks up a bit he could be somehting special. What do you guys think?
I think many 04-05 draftees showed that they`re all going to have bright futures down the road. Okafor, Gordon, Iggy, Dwight Howard, Tony Allen, etc. I think Ben Gordon has probably the best story-like career on his hands. Bringing up team that had been in playoff ruins for several years and leading them to the top. And when you start to be called something like "Air Gordon", you know you have bright path in front of you in the Windy City.
Shaun Livingstone,Sebastian Telfair and Gordon. If i am not wrong then Shaun is going to start at pg next season with Clippers and Telfair with Portland..that would be nice to me.

He is going to be a monster in a couple of years, and a complete nightmare for other teams to guard. Look for him averaging 20 and 10 soon.
I think that Emeka and Ben will be the guys that come out of the draft on top. I mean they showed that they both can play ball and that they are ready for the NBA.
I think Dwight Howard and Ben Gordon. Howard is developing into quite a player. While Gordon has showed his scoring abilitiy and that hes clutch.
i may be biased, but I'm gonna say josh smith. or maybe howard.... yeah howard, just because he's a big man, and they are in such high demand.
Emaka Okafor without a doubt. He's already getting 4 offensive boards a game and a total of 11 with 15 points. Give him about 3 more years and move him to a bigger club with serious championship hopes and he could be one of the main reasons for winning the championship.
^ IMO emeka won't get much better than what he is right now. plus, his numbers were a little inflated, concidering he was on the bobcats.
I think its better that he managed to get good stats while on a team like the Bobcats. When your team is getting beat night in night out, its easy to lose confidence and its harder to defend and score when your trying to help your other teammates and yourself at the same time.
It's gonna be Dwight Howard, he's a monster and if he did grow to 7ft. then he's gonna be a real good big man. Expect him to be an all-star real soon.
IMO Gordon, and Howard will have the best careers, Gordon is already great and hes proved he was clutch, Howard was just a beast last year and has a really bright future.
D12 and Iggy will have the best careers. Dwight is just going to be beast for years to come I can't wait to see him in five years, Dwight vs. Amare, whew. Iguodala he his very well-rounded and can do lot's of things for the Sixers.
BEN GORDON is godly during 4th quarters, i think he could take on the dream team himself during the 4th quarter, breaking ankles, giving moster facials while whistling
1) Dwight Howard - The sky is the limit, he will be a dominant big man on both ends of the floor. 20-10+ numbers are expected in about 2 years, and next year he'll likely be scoring about 15 PPG and grabbing 10+ RPG. 2) Shaun Livingston - Many are passing by a kind of player that doesn't come around too often, a 6'7 PG with amazing handles and courtvision, and was already a pretty good defender right out of highschool. He already averaged 7+ APG last season as a starter while having a good A/T ratio, and showing leadership skills. If he can be durable, get some strength, and improve his shot, the sky is also the limit for him, will be the best PG in the NBA soon. 3) Al Jefferson - This is likely not too popular a pick, but I think he can be big in Boston, he's a guy that can become a 20-10 player easily. 4) Emeka Okafor - Big men normally get the edge over perimeter players. Emeka will not get worse or stay the same, he will get better. I see him maxing as about a 17-18 PPG, 10+ RPG, about 2 BPG player, which is dfinately good. 5) Andre Iguodala - Iverson is getting older, and Iguodala's role on the team will continue to increase. Great athleticism, a versatile and great all-round potential guy who also has potential to be a great and top defender in this league. About 16-18 PPG, 6-7 RPG, and 5 APG and very good defense, is what I predict for him, and that's very, very solid. 6) Ben Gordon - Right now I don't know how he'll fare as a starter in the league, but his scoring ability is tremendous, and it will definately take him places. He can be something like a 20-3-4 player or so. 7) Luol Deng - Extremely versatile player, great IQ, very young, he will definately be good. I can't put out possible scoring numbers for him because his team will likely have a lot of scorers [Gordon, Curry], but something in the 15 PPG+ range, 6 RPG, 4+ APG is what he should be doing soon. 8) Who knows, Telfair, Harris, Josh Smith, JR Smith......
Yeah, totally forgot about Livingston. I didn't hear too much about him, because he was injured often.
It's no biggie, a lot of people do, but him and Dwight really are the highest potential players in this draft, they can both be superstars at their respective positions.
Top Five 1. Emeka Okafor - He is the face of a new franchise in the NBA and is on his way to being a star in the league. 2. Andre Iguodala - Not only did he show that he can be the defensive showstopper as advertised but he also looks like he can develop an offensive game with his athetic ability. If he develops any sort of jumper throughout his career, he may surpass Okafor for number one. 3. Dwight Howard - Put up nice numbers in 82 games for the Magic, the first, and only high schooler to start 82 games from high school. He looks like he has an understanding of the game early. 4. Shaun Livingston - Six foot seven point guards don't come around every day. When you add his passing ability and ability to deflect balls on defense he can one day be one of the top ten players in this league. 5. Ben Gordon - The fact that he is a shade over six feet tall will hurt him in the long run. He has the talent that says he will be one of the elite players in the league but as he grows older and his athletic ability goes down he will struggle. Al Jefferson and Luol Deng would probably be in the running for number six.
