There are more than a few cities that deserve an NBA franchise.I got mineTampa Bay: If you can have a hockey team in Florida, you deserve an NBA team as wellKansas City: They deserve another chanceBuffalo: They have the arena and the fan interestConneticut: May need new arena, but it should work considering their WNBA franchise is doing wellWhere should the NBA expand to?
Pittsburgh. They have the best NFL team in the league and I think they would have a loyal fanbase.San Diego.Discovered in 1904 by the Germans, they named it, San Diego, which of course in German means "A Whales Vagina" They would also have a loyal fanbase, and it is a big enough city for an NBA team.

Oklahoma City 2. Las Vegas 3. Pittsburgh<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pistonfan11 @ Jul 21 2006, 02:45 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Pittsburgh. The only major league that needs to expand more in California is the MLS.I didn't think about Pittsburgh. What do you think about Baltimore?

Hmmm, some cities that could be good choices:VegasGreen Bay (yes, they are a football town, but seeing as how that place is always roaring, I think bball could be a hit), Trenton/Wildwood/Jackson NJ (since Nets are moving, this would be the southern NJ team that could have a heated rivalry with Philly)Richmond, VACincinatti, OH
How about Baltimore? Add that to the list. Cincinatti maybe? They draw some good crowds even though they dont have the best team in the world. The top 3 for me is probably1. OK City2. Connecticut3. BaltimoreI dont know about Tampa Bay. They dont draw good crowds at all for D Rays games..I dont think they are a very good sports town.
I don't think Vegas would be a good choice, bc they wouldn't have a fanbase. Almost everyone there is a tourist.some good places would be OK City, Baltimore, Kansas City, St. Louis, Mexico City?

You would definitely have to explain that to me. :g:
They got the 14th highest crowd rate in college basketball in 2004, so they obviously like basketball. That's probably why..

Maybe something like the nfl did and play like a few games down there.

I think there should be more teams representing a state rather than a whole city, especially for states that have only one team.Like Memphis, milwaukee, Phoneix.U know, like that.

No...Oklahoma deserves one the most. I don't know about other places.
I live in pittsburgh and we really want a team im stuck going to two philly games and 2 cavs games everyear instead of havung my own team.
what about Austin? They are pretty in to sports, as we know from the UT teams. I know they have an NBDL team..

San is spanish for Saint, and Diego is a spanish name. There is a big mexican population in San Diego
1) OKC2) CTOKC showed they can bring in a crowd. CT goes CRAZY over college basketball and they have proven theycan make a good team in the CT Sun.
