Okay, everyone here knows that our team is struggling against almost every team in the league. We've lost to teams mediocre teams as well as horrible performances against great teams. So here's the question, what part of our team is our problem- the players or the coach Van Gundy? I know, I know, they kind of interwine a bit since the coach makes the plays but the players carry it out. But when you break it all down, which has more cons than pros? Most of our players are mediocre role players- such as the players our bench are lined up with. However, the coach implements that frustrating strategy of grinding out wins with the impossible defensive system and horrible offense. Van Gundy just doesn't know how to adapt to players. My guess is that it is more of the coach as the problem. We do have some bright spots on our team such as Bob Sura, Jim Jackson, Weatherspoon, Padgett, and Barrett. Yet, he does not utilize them in the best strategy possible for them. Instead, he makes them adapt to his system and doesn't let them play to their best ability. So whats your idea on this?

Both, out players like you said in another thread, don't have any aggresiveness or desire to win, it just looks like they came out just to play win or lose and go home (excluding that match vs the spurs) and out Coach who plays a slow tempo game doesn't help our team, because our team has the ability to run and fast break. I think he should really change his style of play to match our team.

i think this team is still far far away from well organized yet, the coach should be accused for current situation.
the player give me a impression when they stay on court---"confused", they are confused now, they do not exactly know how to offense, they do not know how to set up a clutch shoot, i do not know the real reason for this.
other reorganized team, like lakers, even though they suffered reorganization this summer, but they do not give us such a impression, why?lakes is not strong enough now, but look kobe and odom, it seems like they have played together for years, oh~~~
there are 3 or 4 times or even more, when tmac and yao both got 20+, but we also lost, what can we say, i do not believe our player is not good enough, i just can not think so
