My favorite Knicks
Marbury - Elite class PG, one of my favorite players

Houston - theres no reason you can hate him, he's a leader, an elite shooter, clutch player, and Christian like me [IMG] )

Trevor Ariza - This atheletic latino from Miami is one of the most exciting guys on this roster, he's our best perimeter defender, and very important to our future)

Quiten Richardson - I'm expecting alot from him, cause he'll be the 2nd best player on this team, hopefully he breakouts with 20 ppg 6 rebs 3 assist shooting over 42 %.......lol

Nate Robinson - Its really hard to dislike him basically

Jerome Williams - Even though overpaid, he keeps the chemistry together with his intensity off and on the bench.

Jamaal Crawford - Still has the potential to be a 20 ppg, and thats what I'm expecting from him, he can make stupid plays sometimes, but really, how boring would the 04 - 05 season be without Jamaal?

Penny Hardaway - He's suave, lol
Guys I dislike
Tim Thomas (big time bust, spectator, doesnt rebound, defend, team cancer)
Maurice Taylor (overpaid, out of shape, non defense, non shot blocking undersized PF)
Micheal Sweetney (Upset that we didnt choose Pietras over him, we needed a perimeter defender at that team, we didnt needa PF, especially a slow non shot blocking undersized PF who's not very mobile on both sides on the court (not good for Isiah's plan for his future (fast exciting young atheletic team) he promises)
Malik Rose - Very overrated, not the same player from 3 years ago, very old, EXTREMELY overpaid, and his contract makes me sad.

My list is based on what their situation is now, not what the players have done for their teams in the past.

Likes:
Stephon Marbury - He's labeled as a loser, but he's never had a good supporting cast. He's a very versatile playmaker who can run the floor, shoot, pass, and drive through the lane. He's lightning quick and he's strong for a point guard.

Jerome Williams - I love his hustle on defense and offense, he's just a total workhorse. He's a monster on the offensive boards, and he can get some blocks and steals here or there. He's also fairly quick, allowing him to play both forward positions.

Trevor Ariza - Athletic freak, and a great inside scorer. Great man on man perimeter defender. If he works on his jumpshot, he could be one hell of a player in the future.

Mike Sweetney - I love how he plays, he also gives 100% every night. He brings some intangibles to the team. He could bang with the big guys in the low post, and he fights for rebounds and tip-ins on most possessions. Also a monster on the offensive boards.

Nate Robinson - Lightning quick, is really athletic, can dunk the ball. He gets up and down the floor quicker than most players i've ever seen, and he can create shots for himself with ease. His passing is pretty decent as well. He's also a fairly good defender.

Dislikes:
Allen Houston - He's in the dislikes just because of his inability to stay healthy and his fat contract. It's hard to improve the team when you have a man who's in his street clothes the whole season for $17 million.

Tim Thomas - Horrible defender, very inconsistent, can't rebound. He's 6'10" 240 lbs, and yet doesn't know how to take advantage of his height. He also has a fat contract.

Malik Rose - Not the same player he was on the 03 Championship Spurs. He was a great role player for the team, but he really wasn't above average in anything he did. He was just an average scorer and an average rebounder. He's too overpaid.

Maurice Taylor - Has a good shot, and he's a decent scorer, but he doesn't play defense and his contract is huge.

Neutral:
Jamal Crawford - He's a very talented combo guard, but he still is a below average decision maker. He chucks up shots, he shoots when other guys are free, he passes when he's open. On the other hand, he's a great scorer, decent passer, and can finish in the lane as well.

Penny Hardaway - His fat contract hinder's the Knicks development as a team when we're overpaying so many players. His contract comes off soon I believe, so it's no big deal.

Quentin Richardson - I don't know what to expect from this guy. He's talented in a lot of the facets in the game, but he only uses them when he's asked to. In Phoenix he chucked up shots and ran the floor, but in LA he used some of his close to the basket game once in a while. Hopefully we see that version of him here.

Channing Frye - I've never seen him play.

David Lee - I've never seen him play.

Jackie Butler - I've never seen him play.

Bruno Sundov - I've never seen him play.

Nate Robinson - How could you not like the guy? He is standing at just 5'8" tall, yet if he was 6'3" he would be a top five pick. His main weakness if his height and if he can put that beside him, he will be a nice player for the Knicks.

Quentin Richardson - Great talent, if he can finally bring his game to the post like he did in LA and in Depaul he will be a great player for the Knicks.

Dislikes

Stephon Marbury - I can't describe how much I dislike Marbury. He always seems to be the best player on a lottery team throughout his whole career. He is a shooting guard trapped into a point guards body, just couldn't stand him ever since he went to Phoenix.

Jamal Crawford - What will we do without the off the back board passes to himself? It looks like Chicago really misses Crawford, and they showed it by making the playoffs in the first season he left. A very inconsistant player, I guess the Knicks got Crawford and Q so one of them is bound to have a good game everytime they play.

Trevor Ariza: This guys a great athlete and is earning his spot in the NBA unlike a lot of the other Knicks who just sit on fat contracts.

Nate Robinson: I always root for the short guys and this guy's shown heart through college.

Jerome Williams: I loved him in Toronto. He brings a great attitude, he hustles, and he leaves everything on the court. If he didn't have such a big contract, lots of teams would love to have a player like him.

Allan Houston: Even though he's in decline, he's done so much for the team and is a great person on and off the court.

Dislike:

Stephon Marbury: The only way you can defend him is by looking at his stats. He doesn't help the teams he plays on, and even though he's got great point guard skills, he doesn't use them as well as he can.

Tim Thomas: What's wrong with this guy? He's got all the skills but for some reason doesn't want to use them. When he plays its like he doesn't even want to be on the court.

Allan Houston: One of the best shooting guards in Knicks franchise history. Always gave 110% no matter what. Always played through pain and injuries although it seems to have finally caught up with him. He's been a great professional and a class act. I hope if/when the Knicks waive him he signs with a championship caliber team and gets himself a ring(maybe that'll finally get Isiah Thomas fired).

Michael Sweetney: One of the few bright spots for the Knicks this past season. In my opinion the future of this franchise rests with this man. He's a prototypical low post powerforward. He's hard working and rebounds like a man possessed. If he works hard enough he will become a premier powerforward(at least in the East). With the signing of Jerome James I'm expecting big things out of Sweetney.

Trevor Ariza: He's just really fun to watch what with his put back dunks and steals and every now and then blocks. One of the few guys this past season who actually bothered to play defense on a consistent basis. If he improves his ball handling and jumpshot and just polishes up his game he can be a borderline All Star.

David Lee: Plays defense, is active and crashes the boards which is what the Knicks really need right now. He reminds me of Jeff Foster. I really like this kid.

Nate Robinson: Very energetic and also fun to watch. I still wish we had picked up Ukic instead but not a bad pick at all.

Jerome Williams: Plays defense and hustles. I like that.

Bruno Sundov: Perennial fan favorite. Always gave you something to cheer about when the Knicks were sucking which was often.

Jermaine Jackson: The only point guard on the team that played defense.
Dislike

Stephon Marbury: What a loser!! Cant he win anywhere?? He sabatoged the Knicks when they were turning on all cylinders because Van Horn wouldnt kiss his ass(excuse my French). He plays absolutely no defense and is so unclutch it's ridiculous. I wish he would be traded but since he's Isiah's pet that isnt going to happen.

Richardson: Plays no defense. His best attribute is shooting and he isnt particularly good at that either.

Tim Thomas: What a lazy bum! He doesnt rebound or play defense or do much of anything for that matter. An extreme waste of potential. I'm still having a hard time believing we traded Van Horn for this clown.

Channing Frye: Waste of a number eight pick. He is sickeningly soft. His nickname should be snow flake.

Verdict is still out on:
Rose- He hates being here but he's being proffesional about it.
Taylor- Doesnt rebound or play defense but at least he can score.
Crawford- Doesnt play defense, has poor shot selection but is still young.
Butler- Havent seen him play.
Hardaway- Missing In Action. I dont know if he's injured or mad.
James- From what I'm hearing he sounds pretty bad but I'll give him a chance.

Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
