many strikers have been linked with liverpool over the last few months eto'o, torres, villa, bent, iaquinta to name a few i think liverpool need a player that loves scoring goals, who will get 20 a season without being spectacular. i kuyt, crouch and bellamy, you have 3 players who will work hard for each other, but none of these are selfish enough, and none of these will consistently score 18 league goals a season. with cisse and pongolle seemingly not good enough, and not wanted by benitez, surely a big name goalscoring machine is needed this summer?
Apparently Iaquinta has told his agent to start negotiating a deal with Liverpool for his signature in June.
