Alien for me, that was bad. There was a lot that I enjoyed about TLJ.

the fact that this is a discussion means I'm not going to spend close $100 on babysitting to take the Mrs to the theater. We'll probably Netflix/Amazon/AppleRent/RedBox this one.

Neither. Phantom Menace is still worse than Last Jedi. And that's saying a lot because LJ was really bad.

    I meant for 2017.

There were 3 major sci fi reboots/sequels this year, Star Wars, Alien, and Blade Runner. A big year for us hard core sci-fi fans. Alien and Star Wars were a bit of a let down.

    Blade runner was awful

I liked Jedi, so for the poll I'd have to go Alien

Blade Runner 2049 was good, not great, Jedi was disapointing, Alien was OK.

Alien Resurrection may be the worst installment to a popular sci-fi franchise that I have seen. Funny, because I usually like Josh Whedon writing. Resurrection was like taking the worst parts of Scott & Cameron's films and making them needlessly chaotically odd and gross. And although people complained about Star Trek: Into Darkness, for my money Star Trek: The Motion Picture is the single worst big budget sci-fi film I have ever seen. The director of The Sound of Music gives us Vger, who wants to get it on with a "The Creator!"

The last Aliens sucked because British actors with a cockney accent in a echo room could not be understood. The script sucked too! IMG_2466.JPG

Yea. That particular Star Trek movie had a good half hour of boring special effects.
