Two weeks ago, White Sox general manager Rick Hahn expressed his comfort with the team’s roster in present form, but admitted he’s still looking for players to add. According to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, the White Sox are among teams considering shortstop Ian Desmond, previously of the Nationals. Desmond hit .233 with 19 home runs and 62 home runs in 156 games last season, compiling a 2.0 WAR rating. The 30-year-old who has spent seven seasons with Washington is considered a plus defender with offensive upside. The White Sox are currently slated to play Tyler Saladino at shortstop, though Hahn didn’t commit to that as a final plan. It remains entirely possible that the team will add Desmond to its lineup and use Saladino as a versatile asset for Robin Ventura’s lineup. - See more at: http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/02...g-shortstop-ian-desmond/#.VrztQrWbnaM.twitter
