I can understand being frustrated, but how did you really think this season was going to go? We honestly have about 6 quality players that could make another NBA squad. I will still hang my hat on my 28-32 win prediction. Sucks but if we aren't going to make any moves to help our bench, it's gonna get worse. Playing those heavy minutes will take it's toll on our key guys. I don't read the game threads very often and I know how psycho mad some on here get over every little thing. just wondering how realistic you guys are?

I'm actually enjoying watching the team play. I admit it is a little frustrating when the D recognition is poor and there seems to be no focus on rebounding but then I step back and realize it's early.

It is way more fun to watch this team compared to last year.

I'm upset when Dame has a bad game..... it just shouldn't happen!

Not upset at all. The only two players not meeting or exceeding expectations are Freeland and Claver.

I'm enjoying it so far. We're only 2 games under .500. The two Houston games were a lot of fun. We beat the Lakers at full strength. We beat Minnesota and Chicago. It's fun. If we really completely fall apart and head down the road to 50 losses, I will lose interest. But right now, I still believe in them. Our bench is showing life. How about Barton and Leonard last night?

I can't understand being frustrated, but Eric as a lifelong Blazer fan, how could you ever "lose interest"?

Are you saying you didn't lose a little bit of interest last season when we started playing Thabeet and Johnny Flynn to tank?

Let me say a reason I'm loving this season though: Wesley Matthews. He's having a great year and he's the reason I still think we can make the playoffs.

I watched Thabeet a little bit last night. I would have resigned him for cheap. I still think with the right coach he can be a factor off the bench.

I'm always upset when the Blazers lose. But I expected an up and down year. This is young team that has a learning curve. Learning also for management (clearly the bench needs major upgrade). It's different from the feeling I got when I expected the team to win every game and they lost to some nothing opponent.

I never have and never will lose interest in my Blazers. Even before I worked for them, I never missed a game no matter how the team was doing.

If i'm acting like an analyst, I understand that not winning this season is probably for the best. As a fan, I like watching the Blazers win, or at least be very competitive. I don't think this is a 25 win team. I know that they'll lose their fair share. I don't even mind losing games like last night, really---anytime two of your top three have a bad game you're going to be hurting, and it took a pretty decent effort from Leonard and Barton (along with the game of LMA's season, so far) just to keep us within shouting distance.

My frustration (if you want to call it that) is that I think we're losing "winnable" games not because we're trying to break in players who should be earning some time, but because we're hamstrung with who we have. I'm actually ok if we're losing b/c Barton goes 1-6 in his minutes. I'm ok if Leonard fouls out in 12 minutes. The fact that we have to play Sasha and Ronnie as many games for as many minutes as they are is hurtful.

I'm mad we lost as badly as we did to Detroit. I'm mad Nolan Smith isn't very good at basketball. I'm mad Joel Freeland isn't as good as I thought he was.

I'm REALLY mad so many other posters got dibs on Mrs. HCP for this road trip, and I'm stuck out here in the bleachers watching instead of participating.

I'm mad at everything you are mad at; except for HCP's wife. I don't partake in those kinky love affairs!

I'm loving this season so far. Everyday I get to read a new LMA trade idea that will lead to us winning a championship.

Not upset at all. Even with Dame's less than awesome games, I feel good because I feel like he's learning a lot from each loss, each bad performance. I'm actually (in a weird way) happy for them when they happen because I don't feel like he'll get in a funk or lose his fire.

I'm always a little down after a loss, but this season I feel like it's all learning... five rookies, eight new players, new coach, new offense, new GM, new President... there's just so much starting from scratch that everyone (even LMA... new hip!) gets a pass. Let's just let everyone learn to play together.

Losses by the Blazers don't put me in a bad mood..... now the Ducks are another story. I was pretty bummed when they lost to Stanford, but that's because they had a legit shot at going all the way this year. The Blazers don't have that chance.

The Clipper strategy is going a little better than I expected, since we touched .500 momentarily.
