Who is the best left handed play ever? I do not even know who is left handed in the NBA and who is not. I heard Kirilenko is a lefty. And isn't Michael Redd a left too?
David Robinson is the best ever... I think... Toni Kukoc the best international left-handed player ever... And right now... Michael Redd ... I guess
Off the top of my head, Zach Randolph is the best right now...all-time, I have no idea... this reminds me of an article I read recently... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to some medical literature, left-handed people are more accident-prone, are more likely to have their fingers amputated by power tools and suffer more wrist fractures. Left-handers are more susceptible to allergies, bed-wetting, depression, drug abuse, epilepsy, schizophrenia, sleeping disorders, suicide attempts and certain learning disabilities. But they're also pretty tough to guard in basketball. It's not exactly a fair trade-off, but left-handers in the NBA are plenty proud of their distinction. They're not often pretty. Just look at the way San Antonio's Manu Ginobili releases the ball on his jump shot or how Nick Van Exel contorts his body to get off a shot in traffic or the lack of arc and rotation on Lamar Odom's shot. But no matter how it looks, left-handers in basketball have a distinct advantage. And it's one they wouldn't give up, even if it means never being able to use a power tool again. </div> http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sport.../printstory.jsp
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bank Shot:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe Bryant was forced to be a lefty the other night when he dislocated his right shoulder.</div> Yeah, but he isn't left-handed, originaly... Bob Cousy could play with his right AND his left... That was an advantage he had above other players...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ThaLord:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah, but he isn't left-handed, originaly... Bob Cousy could play with his right AND his left... That was an advantage he had above other players...</div> Yeah, he was ambindxious. I heard there was a NBA prospect that could play equally with both hands too. I do not remember his name. Carlos Boozer is another guy who is good at shooting with ether hand.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">O yea, don't quote me on this but I think Bill Russell was left handed...</div> He was :
^lol, thanks for backing me up...I guess that settles this thread...unless we find out Jordan was somehow a lefty
Whoa I never knew the Admiral was a lefty, if so then him hands down. Along with Bill Russell, those guys were just revolutionary.
I knew that 'cause I mostly played with the Spurs in Nba Live 2003 and when I took free-throws with him I saw he was a lefty... Here he is :
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bank Shot:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe Bryant was forced to be a lefty the other night when he dislocated his right shoulder.</div> LOL and he played like crap. His first shot he took he tried it wiht his left hand and bricked it. Coach took em out. Was worth a shot tho!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ThaLord:</div><div class="quote_post">He was : </div> Blocking with the left doesn't prove he was left handed. I'm left handed, and I generally block with my right. It's all <strike>fuked</strike> up in 2K4. Chris Bosh is righty, and everyone dunks with left hand so much it annoys the sh!t out of me. Anyways the best in my opinion is Michael Redd and Jalen Rose, I dunno nuff left-handed players so yea...
