Names that come to mindBonzi wellsCarmelo anthonyKobeCan't really give a definent answer. The saddest thing is that the 3 people listed above are better post up players than dirk nowitzki. I still think I have the footage of Dirk failing to backdown Caron butler.
Dirk has done well posting everytime I remember this year. No one giving Dirk problems as of late. Bowen failed, Marion failed, and etc.
Well Kobe struggled posting up Harris in the meetings that I've seen. Some players are too pesky to post up.
Harris was too pesky for Kobe to get a comfortable post up move. If Kobe had good positioning I doubt the lakers look past him but it looked there would be some steals if they did throw it to Kobe.
Also, can you please contribute to the topic. I dont think you can name any good post up swingman out of these 3.
I remember Stackhouse as being a pretty good post up swing guard. And Dirk CAN and WILL post up when needed too.He just doesn't like to. People need to stop acting like he can't post up, when he's just more comfortable, and likes, to play from the outside and drive occasionally.

Speaking of Butler in your first thread, Caron is a pretty good post up swingman. I agree with the three you mentioned, better add Corey Maggette.
Jason Kidd can but he's too unselfish plus he's not a swingmanSo Carmelo is the bestArtest is pretty good too
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mavsfan1000 @ Jan 20 2007, 06:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Rashard Lewis</div> lol The top two, IMO, are Carmelo Anthony and Ron Artest. Melo is definitely the best, I don't see much of an argument, really. He is strong, athletic, he has moves in the post, he can finish soft or powerful, and with both hands. I definitely think Melo is the best. Artest is in there at #2 for me because he's so damn strong. Also guys, not even one mention of Paul Pierce in this thread? Wow. I don't know how Rashard Lewis was mentioned and not Pierce. Pierce is definitely a good post player for a swingman. He is strong, he can back in, he's a great finisher, and he has some quick moves. He can spin in there or even fall away out of the post.
Rashard Lewis? Hardly any of that dude's points comes from in the paint. He is a spot up 3-pt shooter SF, at 6'10. The guys that first pop into my head are: Kobe BryantCarmelo AnthonyJerry StackhouseCaron Butler is pretty good at doing it, too.
I've seen Rashard post up and he was one of the best at it. Unfortunately he chooses not to do it most of the time.
Guys that pop in my head for best post up swingman are:CarmeloKobeCaron ButlerI would say Carmelo is the best post up swingman in the league. He has post up moves, and can finish with either hand.
