OUR NY RANGERS... winning 4 in a row, beatin good teams, scorin goals, dominant power play, winning games they should be losin, gettin production from every player, havin the 2 hottest goalies in league, HEALTHY! ahh, don't worry about the break, every team has to go through the same thing, take a vacation, come back and be ready for final run.. sather will go ahead and pick up final piece of puzzle and we should be well prepared for PS!
I just hope they can keep it up. It all starts with Hank. He has been fantastic since that rough start against New Jersey at the Stadium.
4 in a row with wins of nyi twice and NJ lol? please there playing well but there not the hottest teams..... were suppose to beat shitty teams, now if we woulda won 4 in a row againt chicago, pitts, stl, and boston, i would see your point...... but the islanders were suppose to beat them, yes they play really well against us but there terrible vs everybody else
Lay off the drugs. In the last four they beat the Islanders twice and the Devils once who freakin suck. They beat one good team. The Av's. Before that they beat Ottawa, Washington and Detroit who are all average at best. Before that they beat Dallas and Philly who are average at best and Chicago who is great. The five best teams they played since January were Pitt, Tampa, Chicago, St. Louis and Colorado. They lost 3 out of 5.
I can't say a 4 fame winning streak against anyone makes them the hottest team in the league. I reserve that for 10+ game stretches. Based on that criteria, it would be Winnipeg at 8-2 with 3 in a row and Boston at 7-2-1. The Rangers are one of about 5 teams at 7-3.
HOT? Teams that play like 1st place teams are hot.....a 4 game streak, their first of the season, does not make this team HOT. But dream on.................

Would've been nice to have beaten Edmonton as well but last night was a huge win going into the break. Now we have a long wait to get to the last quarter of the season and the big playoff push.
yes, but better we lose to the oilers then pitt...the pitt loss would have been 100x worse if we beat the oilers, and then lose to pitt, everyone would be sayin we beat the weaker teams and sure now we lose to the beast of the east
A Ranger fan will always have doubts! One loss, one win..hello. Pittsburgh languishes in riches, luck + talent, and of course, the Neals, Kunitz' and Orpick, the knee bender. They are a team that has no threats to their first place standing......#1 PK and #1PP, yes...they are the beast of the east.... and our Rangers will always keep climbing that mountain. But, alas, a win against them is a way forward. We beat the hottest team in the east.
At least a point against Edmonton still would've been nice, Pitt win or not. You can't give away points late in games like that.
