In an interview with a Spanish newspaper Jose indicated that Colaneglo and Mitchell called him into a meeting and asked if he'd be willing to sacrifice his starting roll. Jose says that he discussed it with Bosh and Parker, as they are the captains, who encouraged him to do what he feels is best.

Jose agreed to the change, stating that he feels the second unit is stronger as a result.

So BC decided to cut his Euro scouting trip off and return to the team. A couple days after his return the starting lineup is shaken up.

Did BC come home and tell Sam to switch things up?! I believe he did.

I think he initiated the discussion, but ultimately the decision was Jose's. I think we can temper the "Jose embodies all that is right with sports" talk a bit, because I'm betting they framed the problem in such a way as to kind of make it tough for any reasonable player to decide otherwise. Its still an admirable move on his part, though.

    Jose is only half equation.

Who made the call to pull Andrea? Mitchell knows that he is BC's project, he wouldn't do that without BC's blessing.
