The level of cognitive dissonance going on here is astounding. Blame your team for starting slow, while not starting the players that give your team the best chance to win. WTF?

    Well said, Thibs.

And yes, your team has a problem with how it starts games, that is, they start out very poorly.

If you have a problem and repeatedly apply the same unsuccessful solution hoping for a different result, well, some say that's the definition of insanity.

    Doctor, heal thyself.

The bulls were leading at the end of the first quarter in the philly game and down 25-24 in the NJ game. They scored 22 in the first against Charlotte but gave up 36. They were down by 5 to detroit but were up 12-5 early. They are losing because they give up big quarters, not because they aren't scoring. And it actually did come down to the last 5 minutes in the NJ, PHI and CHA games.

    Beautiful post.

Did any of you guys notice how Thibodeau pulled Bogans two minutes in to the game yesterday. Why? The most Bogans has played, outside of the first three weeks of the season when Brewer was injured, is 19 minutes a game. Why do you care if Bogans draws two fouls? Everyone knows he isn't playing more than twenty minutes a game, even if it goes overtime, and fouls don't matter.

Thibodeau is looking for an out from this mess he has created -- just like the rest of us.
