Chris Paul's got my vote. Simply the best player in the 2005 draft period. What ya'll think?

    Rookie of year

Mr. Chris Paul; he's ready to play, he's tough, he can dish or shoot, and he's very fast in a very fast game and he'll be playing on a team where he can be the star and a team that potentially can win twice as many games and possibly sneak into the last playoff spot in the East. After Paul, it's anyone's guess, but most likely a lottery pick. Oops, I mean ...in the West.

Deron doesn't have the offensive weapons like Paul does. Paul has JR Smith, Jamaal Magloire to pass t so that should be fun to watch.

Williams has Kirilenko, Boozer, Okur, and Harpring. If he puts up good stats and the Jazz make the playoffs, he will have a good chance at ROY.

Harpring and Boozer are on the block and one will most likely be gone by the start of the season.

Deron Williams actually has more options. JR Smith is still a second year player, and last year he averaged 10.1 PPG on low efficiency. Magloire is okay, he can give about 13-14 PPG.

Kirilenko gives about 17 PPG, Boozer about 18-19 PPG on high percentage shooting, Okur is a great guy on the pick and roll, and depending on minutes can give 13-15 PPG, and Giricek and Harpring are both currently better than JR Smith offensively.

The point is, Williams has more options. He will probably start right away and don't be surprised if he wins it if Utah makes the playoffs.

sarunas Jasikevicius will be rookie of the year for the season 2005/2006. trust me he will, think about it hes more experienced that any other rookie and will be easier for him to get started as hes been playing pofessionally for the past 6 years ,not ot mention winning title after title. and dont forget apearing in the olympics twice. Which other rookie can boast of such things.Hahaha hes a lock.
