Im Happy were getting Hargreaves, but who will replace the Greatest attacking midfielder the Premiership has ever seen? He will retire soon and We need to get someone young who Fergie can mould, but who can replace Scholesy lad?
Utd can't directly replace him. Hargreaves will allow Carrick to play 15 yards further up the pitch thats all. Teams always evolve to reflect the personnel so no need to worry too much!
I agree that SAF will attempt to mould Carrick into the attacking midfield role, although, I could see Rooney playing there in the future.

He has retired on my FIFA 07 Manager team and I have replaced him with Andrea Pirlo. He is working out very well with United, I moved up Carrick and had him be more of a defensive mid helping out in offense with long passes. Perhaps someone should pitch the idea to Ferguson.lol
