We are out of the lottery but still have a mid first round pick and second round. I have never watched less NCAA than this year, and want to start watching games, especially ones that have players that the Blazers might target. Who should we be watching? What non-lotto players do you think would fit well with Blazer needs?

Some of the players I've been watching and will continue to watch are Hassan Whiteside, Ekpe Udoh, Damion James, Dexter Pittman, Larry Sanders, Solomon Alabi, Greg Monroe, et. al. Some of those guys are definitely lottery bound, but depending on where the Blazers end up (currently in 19th IIRC) then I suppose it's possible for them to move up or down a few spots and maybe even get into the late lottery.

I'll be in Spokane watching games, so I'll keep a close eye on Vasquez from Maryland, Lucas from Michigan State, and Coleman from Houston.

Vasquez may be ideal if Rudy is used as a trade piece at some point.

Vasquez would never get PT under McMillan. He's one of the more erratic point guards I've ever seen.

Whiteside is the first person I thought of when I read this thread title. I'm very intrigued by that dude.
