T-Mac might be on the move but where? I know he's never comin to S.A but we can always hope. If you had a chance to trade for T-MAC who would you give up?
Actually there is a very good chance that T-Mac comes here...the teams he is considering the most are the spurs , lakers , and rockets.I dont think Kobe will leave LA , so there is no chance they will get him since they will already have Kobe...basically it comes down to the spurs and the rockets. They are offering steve francis and a few other players and/or draft picks , we would probably offer manu and some other players and/or draft picks...we got a 50/50 chance of landing him. It would be great to land T-Mac but it would be sad to see manu go...he's a fan favorite and he will be a great player himself in the near future.
Yeah, I would hate to see Manu leave but i would also love to see that #1 jersey in San Antonio I dont know if they can give up manu that easy maybe get rid of Turkaglu and Rasho maybe Money and some future picks Its going to be tough but if they get T-MAC its OVER!
I would let hedo and Rasho go in a heart beat but i dont think that Orlando is going to accept that for an all star.

I honestly can't see him coming to SA, because it'll never be his team and he'll be second fiddle. He left Toronto because of that. Houston, he'll also be second fiddle, but less so of one, as Yao doesn't have the juice that TD does. PHX makes sense, because they'd have to move Marion or Amare to get him there. Assuming that they keep Amare, it's not really "his team" yet, IMO, so the transition could be smother there. LAL makes little sense unless it's strictly for a title shot with Shaq and Kobe's no longer around, having departed via FA. He's second fiddle, but who's going to complain when it's a guy Shaq's size to deal with.

T-Mac and TD vs. Kobe and Shaq...just imagine that!

However, after this past year in Orlando, I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that I'll believe a new leaf has been turned over, when I see it.
why would SA want to take a chance and ruin the championship chemestry that they have? it is not like they are a bottom 13 team who need t-mac to win a title or anything. SA has TD and TP who complement each other very nicely. SA won a title w/o tmac, i dont see the need for him or to even think about needing/wanting him. he is going to take touches away from tony and duncan. the spurs are just fine w/o tmac, just add some extra pieces and SA will win another championship.
I wouldn't want T-Mac on the Spurs either. I don't see him adapting to Popovich's discipline and taking a backseat to Duncan. T-Mac is amazing player and his scoring is needed in San Antonio, but the Spurs would have to break up their championship team to attain him. Giving up on a guy like Ginobili, Rasho, and one other player will ruin the chemistry and cause the Spurs to lose the necessary depth to compete in the post-season. However, if T-Mac is willing to sacrifice his stats and touches for a chance at a title, him and Duncan would be one hell of a 1-2 punch.
Manu, Rose and Rasho is the kind of deal San Antonio would offer the Magic but I doubt that will get it done. But if T-mac wanted to come to S.A then the Mcgrady/Duncan duo would be a very scary one indeed and would mean a championship no matter who their team-mates are. T-mac would get to live in the Kobe Bryant world, having a big man to hide behind on the offensive and defensive end. For a scorer like Mcgrady to have a big man like Duncan would give him better shots and more open shots. It would get none of this triple team and no one to pass to crap. He would be in a dream world. The same world that Kobe lives in. You would see the difference in T-mac game.
Exactly! The Lakers broke up a championship team from last year added two new players in there starting line up and now they are on thier way to a 4th title in 5yrs. Why not put the Spurs in the same spot light
If it were up to me, I'd want it to be good mostly for the team's morale. For both teams welfare, regardless of how well I wanted my team to do. I'd want us against the best of the best in terms of competition at all times. Giving some people may say, affect Duncan in a such a way, he'd be unhappy or upset. That's never good for a star. For someone like TMac, I'd look for people the Magic would want, that we can afford to give and would want to give. Not simply because we no longer wanted them, but because it would be alright if they left and that it would be beneficial for the Magic. Meaning Rebounders and Defenders, seeing as that's the case, Ginobili, Rose and Rasho would fit the bill there.
Damn , just yesterday it appeared that T-Mac was SA bound if not this yr then next yr for sure...I heard his top two teams were LA and SA and with Kobe most likely staying put in LA all signs pointed here and it appeared that if we waited one yr we wouldnt have to give up Manu. But before we get too happy Spurs fans look what I just came across: And, contrary to reports and rumors, it's not the Los Angeles Lakers or the San Antonio Spurs that McGrady is eyeing. McGrady said from his south Orlando home that the Houston Rockets likely would be his first choice should he and the Magic part ways. Asked about a report listing the Lakers and Spurs as teams that interest him, McGrady said, "No, not San Antonio and L.A. "I don't want to go there. I don't want to go somewhere where everything's already in place. That would be too easy. I want a challenge." -Orlando Sentinel ...
if he wants a challenge, then maybe he should stay in orlando and build a championship team there. thats the biggest challenge out there.
Hey i think if your in the NBA its going to be a challenge no matter what team you play for. Everyone thought the Spurs were going to beat LA that was a challenge for the Lakers and look who they have on thier team. CMON T-MAC
