CP3 or Dwight Howard? The stud big man or the stud PG. Personally I would take Howard because you cannot teach one thing he has - size. Finding an above average PG is much easier than finding an above average Center that can give you what Howard does.
I'd pick Dwight too. Paul is nice, and he has solid all-around skills, but as The Captain said, Basketball 101.A better question is to build around Dwight or Emeka. Still easy though, Dwight.
Emeka is also pretty good and if built around, could have a pretty solid team. But I would still go with Dwight.

Dwight for sure. He's going to dominate the game like he is right now. Already pretty hard to stop. And I would always prefer a big man over a little man.
Anyone who knows anything about basketball knows to pick the big guy first. Especially these days when bigs are a rare commodity. You ALWAYS build around the center.
Ya if it was dwight or lebron it would be hard. But I would take Lebron. He's a good shooter, can rebound and a somewhat defender. And he would be crazy in a few years. Look at what he is doing now. His 1st game in a playoff he gets a triple double. What if its first shot at a title he get a 5 double?
Guys It seems that building around a big guy is harder than you think, let me give you some examples, KG, and the Wolves, they went into playoff contention for a while and went out. The Raptors, who are trying to build around Bosh, arent doin extremely well eithier. The Bucks as well, Andrew Bogut, not doing to well eithier. But when you look at Gaurds like CP3, Lebron, Steve Nash, Carmelo, D-wade, Kobe,. All lead their teams to real playoff contention. Not even Tim Duncan could handle the load without Ginobili and Parker. Its a proven fact, you cant build around big men without at least a half decent backcourt, and thats the problem KG had, his best backcourt was Sprewell, Marbury and Szcerbiak (excuse spelling) at best. But All those gaurds I mentioned put everything into the mix. Dwight's magic had a hot start to the season, but are only 2 games above .500. Ive learned that its easier to build with an extremely good gaurd than an extremely good big man. And for my last example, I choose the Magic, who went to the Finals with Shaq, but also had a decent backcourt as well in Penny Hardaway, You will never find a team in NBA history im thinking, besides maybe the mild exception of Wilt Chamberlain, that managed to win a ring or go deep in the playoffs with ONLY a dominant big man, it can't happen. Which is why I choose CP. You say Kobe couldnt have won a title without Shaq, I say Shaq couldn't have won a title without Kobe.
