Considering the chances are pretty slim of the Lakers hitting the 5th seed who would you rather see in the first round Utah or San Antonio. There both 1 game apart from eachother and are both batteling for the 3rd seed. IMO, I think the lakers have a better shot at beating Utah than they do with San Antonio. I'm pretty sure both series will stretch 7 games but I'm hoping that Utah is the first round. What yall think?

I agree with you. i would definately want to face the jazz. the spurs have so much more experience and are a competely different team come playoff time. facing manu, parker, and duncan in 1st round is tough. jazz dont have much playoff experience and we've played well against them. we've done well against spurs too but they are dangerous in the posteason

We seem to have Utah's number SO Far this season.

But I'm telling you, Deron Williams + Derek Fisher + AK47 + Carlos Boozer + Okur = NO ONE ANYONE wants to face in the playoffs.

There will be no EASY button this year in the playoffs, we're going to have to play our best basketball just to get past the 1st round.

The best chance for the Lakers to advance would be playing Utah. If they face San Antonio, that series will go no longer than 5 games IMO.

Definitely Utah. If Odom, Brown and Walton are all back from injuries come playoff time I don't see any reason why they can't take the series in 5 or 6. It will be tough though they have so many offensive threats, but then again we do have Kobe.
Who will be guarding Kobe the majority of the time if Utah do meet LA in the playoffs?

Utah, easily. We've had both theirs and SAs number so far in the regular season, but SA is full of playoff vets that know how to win, Utah has a bunch of playoff inexperience. I think we have by far the best shot at beating the Jazz right now.

Pheonix. We can keep it close with them because we control the tempo it seems like every time we play them. Utah has 14 road wins I believe, all of them by double digits. They're a lot more scary than people give them credit for.
