Ok this isn't a game or anything but I just want to see who would you guys rather see in a Magic uniform next summer? -Boris Diaw -Josh Howard -Vince Carter -Grant Hill I personally am a fan of athleticism and highflyers, so I'm going to have to go with vince, though he might be the costliest or the second costliest of the four, I think if he learns to play a team game under Brian Hill, we would have a tremendous amount of success with Him at the 2 or 3
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting d-money12:</div><div class="quote_post">...he might be the costliest or the second costliest</div> Is costliest a word? haha... i would have to go with someone that can play a role really well and won't cry about touches... i'd go with josh howard... "the howard brothers" i could see it now.

That's what Josh Howard does and it's not like he can't score. Plus he would be cheaper.
Josh Howard does everything and doesn't need the ball a lot to score. Vince is a nice scorer, but I don't see scoring as a problem especially when Dwight develops an offensive game down the road and Josh Howard isn't a slouch in that department either.
I wouldn't say that he has the potential to be better than Carter, but he'll demand less money (for the moment, at least) and he's more servicable for a longer period of time. He also doesn't demand a lot of shots and scores effectively while also playing good defence; that's the beauty of Josh Howard.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Carter:</div><div class="quote_post">If I was a supporter of the Magic I would pick Josh Howard. He has alot of potential.</div> And this is coming from probably the biggest VC supporter on the board.

Howard, if your talking about the future... But if you guys want instant impact, I'd go with Carter. I'm not the biggest fan of Carter, but he will be the answer to the Magic's offense. Dwight Howard and Carter will be a great combo.
I wouldn't mind having the other Howard on the team. Josh and Dwight Howard with their freakish talent and potential. That doesn't seem so bad.
it's funny how nobody wants diaw...i think he would fit in perfectly here, but yeah howard is more of guy that otis seems to wanna target
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting d-money12:</div><div class="quote_post">it's funny how nobody wants diaw...i think he would fit in perfectly here, but yeah howard is more of guy that otis seems to wanna target</div> I like Diaw a lot, but what position would he play in Orlando? He wouldn't be a very good PF/C in our system(like he is Pho), we are already loaded at PG and he's not that great of a shooter. I don't believe Diaw has ever played a wing position for an entire season and I would just rather have Josh Howard, who you know exactly what you will get game in and game out. Truthfully though I would probably want him 2nd behind Josh Howard.
Diaw is very versatile, I'm sure he could play SF. I would sign Howard though, because who knows if Diaw can play that well in another system besides Phoenix.
After Diaw demanded 10 million a year after just one good season, I'm not too sure I'd want him on the Magic.
